I need better reason, than just "because I can". That's childish.
if given the option to kill a companion would you do it it can be anyone of them.

DHMG if he isn't an LI option. It would break my heart seeing him every time.
Just kidding.
Nobody really.

I don't really want to kill anyone straight off the bat, but I REALLY want the simple option to tell any of my companions to sod off, so they leave the party permanently. To me it makes absolutely no sense to have someone around that disagrees with me or who I don't like.

Why would I kill anyone? I usually default to leaving any character I come across alive, even Random Bandit #32 before you entered Lothering in DAO, unless I have a roleplaying reason not to. I guess my characters tend to be the sort that don't kill without a compelling reason, and I personally don't see the point in making a playthrough into more of a killing spree than it already is.

Yeah, like how you could just tell Leliana to go

I want that option for every single possible companion. DA2 was a nightmare in this regard.

I typed a random number to emphasize the randomness of his filler role.

wouldn't he be number 1? I mean I don't know of any bandits in any of the origins and ostigar is all darkspawn....

If Cassandra gets overbearing and bossy, definitely her judging by what little I know/see. She comes off as though she likes to constantly challenge the Inquisitor and assert her dominance.
If Daggers is Cole (and assuming he is), then I wouldn't mind displacing him either if he betrays my Inquisitor or his creepiness level goes through the roof.
Side note- If any of them are even remotely like DA2 Anders, then they would be dead if given the option. Even if my Inquisitor has to solo his/her quest alone.

The only companion I've ever killed is Anders, and I had no real choice in the matter.

Ya more or less. I mean we have no other info on them, so. We have seen a bit of Vivienne but she seems like a ****** to me.
That's what makes her character interesting and awesome. She does things to benefit herself.

So which one you want dead.
I already killed Anders so I'm good.

None.
We haven't even met most of them yet. Why would I want to murder knife already? I'd only have the Inquisitor kill them if they betray him, or do something that warrants it, like Anders in DA2.

I will never understand this.
We're gonna be killing human/elf/dwarf enemies by the truckload. It's suddenly an issue when it's a companion?

I've had bad experiences with things coming from the Fade, so Cole is a guy I may deny from my canon Inquisition.
He does seem interesting, but that's what replays are for.

If a companion betrays me or the inquisition, attacks me first, or they are trying to do something terrible (atleast in my/my characters opinion) I will kill them.
If I had to guess it would be Vivenne or Cassandra but knows.
