That wasn't an insult. That's what we would call "friendly advice." You might want to take 'em up on the offer considering you're starting to freak out some posters with your "ERMAGHERRRD, I <3 BLUD 'N STUFF. GONNA KILL 'EM ALL!" talk.

If you're not a troll: Get help. NOW.

If you're a troll: Go crawl back under the bridge you came from. You're giving decent trolls a bad name, and you should feel bad.

To get back on-topic, I have no plans on offing any of the companions, unless they turn on me, then I'll feed them to Necrose. Bog Unicorn's gotta eat, y'know.

Speaking of which, I'll probably kill Bog Unicorn if I can.

Probably will kill everything from the bog, in fact.

They're enemies and in that context the game forces your hand in order to progress- and frankly, the overabundance of killing things in videogames without consequences or weight is already a significant problem.

But wanting to voluntarily kill anything, or discussing who you'd like to kill as if it's talking about the weather, is pretty close to something psychopathic. I find this segment of the BSN absolutely impossible to understand, and I'll keep expressing that in all the random murder/torture/genocide threads that keep popping up.

But you're still playing it and killing all those enemies. You already know the game is gonna have hordes of killing people and you're willing to play it. Also by this am I to assume you never killed any NPC unless you had to?

They're pixels. Not to mention the deaths they often get look absolutely nothing like how someone would actually die. It shouldn't have any more weight than the weather absolutely nothing changed in the real world if you kill those NPCs or not. Me killing a roach has more significance and impact.

Once again it's pixels. If you really can't see the difference in killing pixel people and real people that's more to do with you being unwilling or unable to do the whole real vs not real thing. Especially calling it psychopathic. Sorry but people being able to go LOL headshot doesn't psychopathic make I certainly won't go "LOL damn." in real life if someone's head explodes in front of me. I do so in games. (**** I was traumatized by my teacher's rabbit dying in front of me from swallowing a damn rubber eraser. That crap's not funny in reality.)

I really don't understand the people that don't realize it's a game, they're pixels and no one's actually being hurt when they die. (Especially since in many games death is the quickest and easiest way to ensure that character never pops up for them again. It's nothing more than a delete option). It's not like our PCs torture the NPCs before killing them. There's a quick often hilarious battle (that often times isn't even anything like how real life combat would look) with maybe a lol worthy game kill and that's the end of it.

In real life I can punch someone in the face and walk away or say something suitably cutting. Often in games I'm stuck with limited dialogue options and actions. Killing a NPC is the surest I am not pleased. response possible. And at the end of the day said NPC is a collection of pixels and code. Absolutely no one is affected by me killing a NPC in a game that annoys the hell out of me. (****** Noober)

I am so sick of armchair psychologists trying to judge people they've never even met based off their actions in a damn video game.

If the Inquisitor begins mercilessly killing their allies because "they're there" then I think the Inquisition should adopt a better screening process.

do they even do one it seems to me they pick based on your special power no screening or anything for all they know you could be a double agent.

You're going to get plenty of that with non companion characters. What exactly is the purpose of this thread then?

Maybe, I won't really make that decision until I play the game though.

The only companion I've killed is Anders. But if someone pulls another stunt like Anders, or turns traitor then I might kill them depending on how it plays out.

Actually I wanted to kill Anders early in the game because he was an abomination. If we have another abomination party member and I'm given the option to kill them then I most likely will. Same goes for any blood mages.

The only companion in previous DA games I've particularly enjoyed killing is Loghain. (Even then, I also like making him a Warden then feeding him to the Archdemon. Which is also killing him, just in a more roundabout way.) I sometimes kill some of the others just for story variety.

So based on previous averages, it unlikely that I'll want to kill any of the DAi companions. I certainly don't want to kill Varric or Cassandra, who are the only two we have really 'met' before.

technically cole is somewhat of a demon abomination thing, but something like what anders did is warrant enough for me to kill them.... unless its cassandra, then i would let the world burn for her to survive

I never kill companions, even if I hate them, because I want their content.

But the ones I dislike the most right now are Vivienne and Cassandra.

Nope nope. Loghain is the only character I've ever killed that wasn't actively hostile/attacking me or who I wasn't otherwise forced to kill. If an NPC begs for their lives, I always spare them, haha... :x

I don't really understand why you'd wanna kill your companions unless you want to drastically lessen the amount of content the game will give you. But I'm all about the characters and story so I won't even dismiss companions I hate (Oghren) because I don't want to miss their stories.
