Hey guys, I'm really torn between two ME2 class choices atm.. Vanguard vs Sentinel. I know this has been posted many times before but I still haven't met a decisive conclusion and would like some more input.

I'll start by saying that I am VERY interested in the Sentinels warp and tech armor ability but the one thing that turns me off is the lack of fire power. I mean, I know they can use SMGs and Heavy Pistols but the Vanguards ammo abilities + shotgun is very tempting. What I'm trying to say is that I would like a character where my gun is my main "weapon". The thing that's making me want to pick Vanguard is that I will most likely have Miranda + Thane in my party and I hear Miranda is a sentinel or very close to it already.. Maybe anyone who's played the game without spoiling anything confirm that? Or does this not matter anymore like in the first game where you had to pick what you didn't have? Plus.. Charge + Shotgun seems BA

Well from the sound of it you seem to regard the vanguard rather highly. And you say you want a gun as your main weapon. I say go vanguard. I am bias though.



I'm curious, what was your Shepard's class in ME 1?

I played as Vanguard first time and I recently made a "perfect" playthrough which I beat 10 minutes ago as Sentinel.



Off-topic: I bought DDE of ME2 off Steam and I'm just wondering where I go to get my Cerberus Network Code? Is it going to be incorporated into my game automatically or did I miss something?

It'll probably be in the files or if you right click in the Steam games tab onto Mass Effect, it should have a code like how ME has it's key as an option.

It shows nothing when I right click so I'm guessing it will once it's released

Soldier, its the best one. I got a soldier from ME1 that looks a lot like Duke Nukem I'm going to import eventually. Closest to Duke Nukem Forever I'll ever get.
