It's bad but honestly better than Microsoft buying it like the rumors were saying earlier this year.

It's part of Google's plan to make themselves one big internet entity. But I highly doubt this rumor is even true.

I don't mind Google Plus, and Twitch pretty much already has mandatory advertisements on each stream. I would want to know what they would plan to do differently in terms of monetizing streams and the whole content ID matching and claiming process. Youtube isn't terrible, but Twitch offers so much more freedom and opportunity at this point for gamers.

pretty much. given the way YouTube handles third party notifications of copyright violations, I doubt Twitch Plays Pokemon would have lasted long with Google at the helm.
