What is the Collector Combat Set from the Armax Arsenal Arena? I haven't been able to find any information on it.

Yes, Collectors are a gold prize. Play against Elite enemies and try to keep your streak at MAX! Once you buy the Collectors set, you can enable it down at the terminal where you can select the Arena parameters.

The first time I faced Collectors in ME3 was in the arena. I hadn't played MP yet. And the first time I ran into them was during the Unusual Scores quest. The first thing I saw when the match started (this was blind) I saw a Praetorian and went, uh-oh! I don't think there were any Scions, though. Scions are the worst, much more deadly than Praetorians.

Its fairly easy to dodge butt lasers (if you have a dodge move).

Not really, it has an Area of effect as well. Simply standing behind structures can still hurt you. You kinda have to dodge very quickly for the AOE to not affect you, but possessed Scions are very broken. They toss grenades at you like crazy!

Besides, it can even be a decent training area...if your Shepard mirrors your fav MP character. And if you activate additional shields for enemies.
