Has anyone had problems with NWN Explorer?  My copy all of a sudden will not open any resources in the hak subcatergory everything shows up on the tree but when I select something to look at I get "error opening the resource" all standard recources open fine just the hak directory,

 

I have redownloaded it and I still get the same result.

you might have too many hak's in the hak folder. I have a similar problem and discovered that the cause was too many resources/haks.

 

My solution is to use the open function from the menu, and then browse to the specific HAK I want to open. I also drag HAKs and drop them on the explorer icon to open just that one hak.

There is a 512 file limit for the hak folder when viewing with NWNExplorer.  My guess is this is a hardcoded limit, but I don't have the sources to verify.  Would be nice to see this fixed in NWNExplorer Reborn.
