I want beasts in dragon age inquisition to be important. I want it to have an engaging beastiary, and I hope for there to be Hunting in the game, where i am supposed to hunt down, and kill specific beasts for rewards and stuff

Apparently you can hunt down more than enemies. But even critters like nugs.
no! no nug, or critter hunting.... Hunting is serious, for getting the biggest, meanest nasties Thedas has to throw at us!
.... I'm still looking forward to seeing those basilisks Alistair mentioned..remember bioware

You have been reported to the Thedas branch of P.E.T.A, you are being watched!
when these beasties prey the lives of normal people.. something must be done

I want a trophy room.
That'd be cool, especially if we could choose what to display instead of certain things taking precedent.

Having optional/inter-changeable ones would be awesome but a few spots for "legendary" beasts would be cool. The Albino Alpha Wyvern, the Giant King, an Ogre Alpha etc.

Im perfectly fine with slaughtering my way through a game full of humans but I usually don't hunt at all in games unless its for a quest or something....

Sounds like the Bounty Board from FFXII, which I rank as the coolest Final Fantasy extended sub-quest of all time. Right above Chocobo Hot&Cold.
I like the idea, but I think the Dragons fulfill this in some capacity already.

The crafting and blacksmithing may require this kinda like Wade's weapon and armor quest from Origins and Awakening.
I imagine since Inquisition is introducing custom gear, it may require special beasties to create the very beat gear

I seem to remember The Witcher having something similar. You fought unknown beasts and when you had fought enough of them an entry was added to your bestiary or something (feel free to correct if I'm off base)
I personally think that all enemies and beasts should start out as unknowns. Through codex entries and fighting them you gain more knowledge about them. Eventually discovering a possible weakness to fire/magic etc.

FF12 did something similar, the more of a particular beast you beat the more back story on it and other stuff you got
