I hope in DAI your Rogues will tell you of the Traps before you step on them lol.
Was quite annoying in previous games, had to switch to a Rogue companion to lead the way.

No, all traps should be invisible and insta-kill the player at unlimited range with no warning. Also traps should delete the game.

Your move rational world.

You forgot "and cause the disc to self-destruct". :P

Leliana was good about warning trap ahead in DAO, but Isabela and Varric sucked in DA2 for detecting traps.

Even if you DID switch to a rogue to lead the way and find the traps, half the time they were on top of them/had walked through the invisible tripwires ANYWAYS.

I think this is especially important because of the way stealth worked in DA2. I sorta wished that a rogue in the party could auto-detect/disarm a trap without you needing to take control of a character. I end up playing as Varric more often than anyone else in my Mage/Warrior playthroughs.

"Disable detected traps" should be a tactic you can set for rogue party members.

Stealth was bloody useless in da2. 'Ooh they can't see you for 10 seconds!' too bad that by the time you get to a point where it wakes under 10 seconds to walk up to someone and stab them, you're already in their detection radius. you are the WORST rogue, Isabela.

Agree. It was very annoying when I was forced to control directly Varric/Isabela instead just play as my own character. The biggest problem is that undetected trap "steals" experience points and it hurts more than some damage points. Very problematic, especially during the fight. Companions should be more independent while searching for traps.

Traps are already kind of pointless without an additional nerf.

Traps dont bother me so much. I hate more the fact that your party are standing still in aeo damage. and i agree that varric en isabella are realy bad detecting traps.Leliane was idd good in it. But the point in traps is that you dont see them all

Every noob knows  that standing in fire is not good.
