If I remember correctly, I was gonna go:
1. Male qunari warrior (there is a small chance of being female since we probably won't be getting a hot female qunari to bed)
2. Female elf mage
3. Male elf rogue
4. Bi-sexual blond female human (as is tradition in my 4th game) mage
So qunari.
The order of each is a result of careful consideration and planning (not that it required much of either).
Lately I'm leaning towards Qunari for my first playthrough. Elf for second. Of course I might change my mind before release and switch the two.
Mage class in any case. And female.
Dwarf is for my third playthrough. I won't play as a human, though.
I am thinking human Female Mage but i would like to romance Cass and if she not LI for Female i`ll go Male
Most likely will be a female elf.
I never play anything but a human but I think I may if DAI is good do a run through with a qunari, can you be a female qunari?

Female Qunari Rogue...to be honest would love to have done the mage first...but not sure how Iron Bull would react to a mage...and I want to ride the bull ...yeeeehaaahhh 
After that Human or Elf Mage...for Cullen...yeah I know he's probably not going to be happy with a mage either..but I'll take the challenge 
My canon choice, just like DAO, Dalish she-elf, rogue.

This is a tough choice. I voted 'human' but I haven't really made up my mind yet. It's definitely going to be either human or qunari.
For me, the choice of gender depends solely on which voice actor sounds better. Judging by what I've heard in the previews and various trailers, I'm definitely going to play as male this time. Don't get me wrong, the female voice actor is not bad. She just doesn't sound authoritative enough for my taste. The guy, on the other hand, is great.
I usually leave magic/biotics/whathaveyou to others and go straight for stealth but, for some reason, I've never really warmed up to the rogue class. I will most likely go with the brute, skull-cracking, dual-weapon-wielding warrior option.
Probably an elf, but only if they aren't five foot tall twigs this time around. I could never take them seriously in Origins because they look so weak.
Qunari or Elf. I've been human for two games now and that's boring.
I like dwarves as NPCs but for some reason don't like playing as them -shrugs-
