NOTE: POST EDITED WITH YOUR CORRECTIONS, THANKS! :)

WarTable_WM.jpg

Please correct me if I am wrong.

- We know there will be 9 companions, 3 warriors, 3 rogues and 3 mages

- We know there will be 3 advisors: military, espionage, trade.

- Since the image above was in the trailer saying "we are the Inquisition" and there are 12 followers, we assume those are the 9 companions and the 3 advisors

- Since 3 of the followers do not have weapons, and dressed less combat-ish, we assume those 3 are the advisors

This keeps us with (from left to right):

1) Cullen, military advisor (LI)

2) Viviene, mage companion

3) Varric, rogue companion

4) ???, rogue companion. Assumed to be Cole, from Asunder.

5) Solas, mage companion

6) Cassandra, warrior companion (LI)

7) Inquisitor

8) Iron Bull, warrior companion

9) ???, mage companion. Assumed to be Dorian, the Tevinter renegade magister.

10) Leliana, espionage advisor

11) Sera, rogue companion

12) ???, trade advisor

13) ???, grey warden, warrior companion

Is this already confirmed or are there any mistakes? Did I forget anything?

Sera, not Sara.  Cole isn't exactly confirmed, though he fits too well for me to really doubt.

I'm curious what the Inquisitor brings to the table, class wise. It feels like there's no way to distinguish one self from that group (besides the green Fade power thing).

I think most people when thinking what class they are going to start out with will be thinking how best to fit in with the companions they wish to have with them for the majority of the game.  For instance I may am going to use Cassandra, Varric and Iron Bull then my character will be a mage.

I'd imagine the Inquisitor-specific class specializations are what make him/her different.

Artificer (a rogue specialization that focuses on traps), Necromancer, Templar (as cullen is likely not a companion), Reaver, Rift mage and such all seem very different from what the specific companions specialize in, which I'm sure is deliberate.

I've seen these specializations listed before but not where they're from.  Was this released in a magazine?

Thanks for composing this list, OP!  Cole looks very different than I imagined from Asunder, but I'm personally convinced that's him...and that DHMG = Dorian, too.

Rift mage interests me, yet I don't even know what it is.

This might be the first time I go for the standard Templar type of hero. I just hope Iron Bull doesn't outshine my own warrior. Heh. He looks like he should.

It's on the official site, although at present, or at least the last time I checked, there is only one spec description per class. (warrior, rogue, mage)

The names for Cole and Dorian haven't been confirmed yet.  THough it's likely that's what they are called

I think only one specialisation per class is actually confirmed, but some sneaky people looked at the file names of some icons to get the other

so far, everything is right with the pending names on a few companions....  as for the inquisitor.... i think it will be like da 2 where some characters will be exactly like the inquisitor and will get left out in favor of the inquisitor

Yup... I think you have it right, but wouldnt it be fun if Bioware duped us and lets say the Warden guy is really an advisor and the scribe lady or Cullen is a companion?

I'd love Scribbles to be a companion.

I think the OP is totally correct, yeah.

We're just missing confirmation that DHMG is Dorian (even though it looks as though he is), and confirmation that the blond guy is Cole (even though a survey from two years ago said Cole was a companion).

The names of Beardy Warden and the Scribe Lady are totally unknown too.

I really just want to have Vivienne as a companion already. She screams mage. I love it.

It's possible the warden is Stroud.

He's actually been confirmed by Gaider to not be Dorian, and to never have been Dorian.

It wasn't about DHMG , some people thought Solas  was the Tevinter magister from the survey.

It was about dhmg, I saw the posts myself. But he has had a history of lieing about leaked information.

That's what I initially thought ages ago when we first saw his concept art, but the visual appearance seems quite different to his character in DA2.

My personal theory is that the unknown mage (9) is Rhys. He fits the age and physical description, was central to the events in Asunder and, having voted (albeit reluctantly) for Circle independence from the Chantry, would make a nice counterpart to the pro-Circle Vivienne. He knows Liliana and is almost a Dragon Age "legacy" of sorts through his connection with Wynne. Doubtful as a love interest though.  :)
