For me, it's mostly DA:I and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. There was a lot I loved about the first one; the soundtrack, the gun play, the overall aesthetic, etc. I thought that its story and commentary on game violence were confused at times, but there was still something worth while to be found there. Here's hoping that Wrong Number is the equal or better of the original.

lol last gen was worse, when the PS3 launched it only had resistance 2.

Think you meant to say Resistance 1 -- It also had Uncharted, but truthfully, it didn't have a lot in comparison to the 360. Whereas this gen the Xboner and PS4 has ****-all.

Galactic Civilizations 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, SSB for the 3DS, Far Cry 4, and I wouldn't say no to some more Fallout.

 

Although these aren't really "must buy" as much as they're "must watch" for me. I tend to avoid committing to a game before it's even finished except in certain cases(mostly crowdfunding).

Nah PS3 came out 2007. Infamous was 2009

I finished Resistance and thought it was okay, but then I played the second game and disliked it because I had experienced the story of Resistance in pretty much every shooter ever made ever (Half Like for instance) -- At the time I preferred having Insomniac do Ratchet & Clank, which thankfully they did unlike some people not doing Jak anymore (stupid Naughty Dog)

Yeah, you did mention Uncharted. One of my favorite series.

Resistance had its issues, (don't even get me started on R2), but it was great for couch co-op. Any game that has that gets a few huzzahs from me. Did it have a story? Something about alien creatures? I have no idea what it was about, really, but dang, shooting tanks off Chimera was hella fun.
