By now people are so used to the "stealth" concept of rpgs that actually this topic makes perfect sense!
The main problem with turn based rpgs is that the gameplay is balanced more around numbers and less around decision making and surgical combos like hack n slash games. So instead of wasting resources to make a "line of sight" mechanism, which would be the stealth method (distract and stay out of sight), they took the result and made it an active skill, stealth. Problem solved.
Also I'd like to know how a guy carrying 50 weapons, 20 armor pieces, various junk, 80 potions, 1 corpse (quest item) and 4 dragon bones can actually leap 10 meters and stab the other guy in the back. What sorcery is this?!
@WoWers, what is more unbelievable, Tauren with berserker buff stealthing on your ass, or the goddamn dagger that is bigger than you? ;p .Prideful dagger can be used for a battering ram.
