Speaking objectively, the Harrier is grossly overpowered.

It's a badass sidearm on the Marksman classes when going with a light weapon.. could never be a primary though.

I adore the Harrier on the GI.. but not the other Geth kits.

My mighty Eagle fulfills that role. :)

^ So true, also Eagle has much more spare ammo and little weight.

And yet I meet so few Harrier users in game and even fewer that can decimate things with it.

The reality is, Harrier has absolutely crappy ammo capacity and in hands of majority of players performs completely average.

Read a few pages, then scrolled down to read more and saw how much you wrote...

All to accuse the Harrier of being overpowered... As if that case has never been made before.

Balanced and user friendly. Calling the Harrier "overpowered," is grossly "exaggerated".

I like the "subtle" cracks at the Venom, OP.

Ahh, the mighty Harrier.  The weapon that has been relegated to being used only by my Demolisher.  I wouldn't call it "grossly overpowered".   I would say it is "a bit overpowered".  I find that the ammo limitation is very significant.  It practically forces me to use the spare ammo mod if I want enough ammo to actually be able to fight my way to the nearest ammo box, which makes it more limited than most other weapons mod-wise.  It can be a very devastating weapon when in the hands of a skilled user.  On the other hand, put in in the hands of an unskilled Marksman/Adrenaline Rush user, and it practically becomes a liability.

Also, comparing it to other ARs isn't all that great of a comparison - most of them suck.

It's decent on the TGI.

My Turian Ghost is both legally (Turians are weird like that) and happily (they weirder than you thought) married to that b__ch (Harrier)! And that runnin' for ammo s__t is actually kindaaaa dangerous! 'That's why I pick the Ghost; I trololololol my way to ammo boxes with my guava juice (what Stim Packs actually are...like seriously...*goes to edit Mass Effect wiki*) in hand, for my ammo and more guava juice!

On some s__t though; it's a good gun, but it ain't no long range Reegar. Also, I spend more time lookin' for ammo than shootin' mah f__kers with normal kits. And goin' to them ammo crates without guava juice--OH LAWD! Krabb-cakes, Krabb lasers, Scion artillery, Hunter/Pyro Gorilla attacks, Combat Drones, Primes, Phantoms with the bullet time ability, Marauder Jones wit' the people's elbow, that possessed A-Bomb on it's last bar of health affected by a DOT damage, Brute butt cheeks, Ravager love juice, and SWARMERS!!! ...Pardon, I had flashback--Swarmers are real! And it goes down!

Morale of the story:
It's fun to kill, Harrier helps. I don't remember this game having a competitive mode. So...anything I/you/we (but not "them" we hates "them") can pick to kill more s__t--DO IT!

I love the Harrier, but I still prefer the Mattock overall. A bit lighter at equal level, has better ammo, slightly more punch, and all I really need is a quick trigger finger.

Not at all. One does not simply "turn off" greatness.

In other words: if I told you, you probably wouldn't believe me.

It's ok on the AIU, but it requires skill.

Yeah, you have to know the location of ammo boxes and that headknowlledge is skill. OFC the Reegar is still the most skill dependent weapon , cos' you know ... range cap.
