A problem with the Halla that I can see is the horns. One wrong move when riding the beast and you could impale your self. Still love the creatures though.
Well spiders can have thick hair/fur yes?

Though I wonder, if I scratch my spider's belly does four legs twitch or just two?

Im sad to say but mounts really do not interest me at all, i hope beyond hope they are just like a accessory an nothing more
yeah, real men don't need mounts.
We know there is going to be unicorns, and hallas (see pic bellow) but there are tones of fantasy and non fantasy beasts that we could ride into battle with.
The unicorn doesn't really count as a unicorn... just an undead horse.

I remember this has a kid. That ''lucky'' dragon creeped the **** out of me lol . I remember having nightmare about that giant doggy following me in theblack sky. I ran and ran .. but could not outrun him.. and than his big fluffy face would appear out of the shadow between two tree blackened by the night .. I would wake up in terror and ran in my parents bedroom. I would not wake them up. I just standed there watching my mom and dad sleep .. Than my mom would ignore me like five minutes and my dad would let out a growl like -- Arfff .. Go to sleep !!! You're a big guy now ! ( I was like 6-7 )
Than she would just open the blanket just enough for me to slip inside and I would instantly fall into sleep. .Than I would wake up in my bed lol.
Than my father would lecture me ..
- You're big now .. It's just a nightmare ! Or just stop watching this movie lol.

I would really love a gryphon mount. I'd be interested if there were mount-related quests- perhaps getting a gryphon mount could be the result of a quest with the warden faction to search for the remaining gryphons (as a way to reach tears in the sky perhaps?)
Maybe the Dalish would gift the warden with a Halla for taking their side in the conflict. You never know!

That was my favorite part of Dragon Fable. Customizing a baby dragon and raising it to use certain attacks, element, and abilities. Something like this in Dragon Age would be awesome.Maybe a baby dragon that grows into a mount too? I'd like to befriend a Halla on my Dalish playthrough, so it could carry me. As said in Origins, they aren't necessarily mounts - more like friends, giving a piggyback.

G'Mork scared the crap out of me when I was little; it was the eyes, THE EYES!
Now when I watch that scene, its not so much how he looks, but what he says that gives me chills. 
Oh maybe there will be a part in DA:I where we have to go through the swamps of sadness...... Man now I've gone and made myself sad: "FIGHT THE SADNESS ARTAX!"
