That's a Cold One from Warhammer right? I agree though, having creatures/mounts similar to the ones you can get for the Lizardmen would be awesome.

I think the closest you're likely to get is a Wyvern.

We didn't buy mounts in Denerim because Leliana said she could call upon the wild beasts of the forest what with being a Ranger and all. We thought she meant horses or maybe large, majestic eagles like in her songs.

I would argue that Shadowmare is nowhere near as scary/freaky as a spider.

I was more poking fun at Skyrim's horses being able to practically scale 90° walls.

That said shadowmere is a human eating, glowing red eyes, emitting black smoke horse with frickin fangs.
