How does [leave her] = kill her? You never see Shepard & Co. take any positive action to actually kill the Queen/Breeder. So how do we know it is dead?

Too bad you couldn't use the flamethrower we have for the mission and make sure its dead.
I say its still alive especially if you do the Leviathan dlc after the mission since that dlc has rachni in it and you see a lot of rachni on Earth in cutscenes.

Oh, and I forgot about Joker's post-mission comment about nuking it from orbit, a line ripped right from the movie.
Hmm. I haven't watched that movie in a long time. Maybe its time to revisit an old friend.

That flamethrower and all those eggs sure do make an obvious reference to Aliens, don't they?
Having your femshep look like Ripley would be cool while burning the eggs

I've always been confused myself. It sounded like she was fearful of the Reaperfied Rachni but they wouldn't kill her, would they? It's not like any permanent harm was done to compromise here and the control mechanism was still in place.

Bad plot writing skillz. And the planet is called "Utukku". I think the Rachni Queen/Breeder is simply speaking in the sense of being "doomed". She's doomed to give birth to Rachni children until she dies or is no longer useful. Of course, for Shepard and the squad, it speaks plainly....

I dont think Utukku was left unrazed after Shepard got out of those caves with the survivors. No way in hell would the Reapers be left with that sort of asset on their hands.

Well, I have no idea where the Rachni Queen is suppose to go even if you do help her......she's like doomed either way.

Well, Joker did suggest "nuking" it from orbit, but he didn't. Not sure if they did bomb that part of Utukku, but I never save her over Aralakh company, because they're Krogans, and secondly, Grunt does not send you his message filled with epic typos.

Apparently Rachni are born with drive cores in them. How else do you explain the Queen getting off Noveria?

I don't pay attention to Rachni much since I don't invest my time in trying to read up on them more....I just kill them and be done with it....

Actually you can get both, but you do need a Loyal Grunt to do it.
Grunt triples Aralakh Co. Asset value and counts for one himself. By saving the Queen, you only lose 25 points from Aralakh while countering that loss with another gain from the Rachni support for the Crucible.

Hmm, I never got a message from him when I saved the Queen. But I looked at the asset of Aralakh Company and it didn't seem to budge at all....

That's true. I never saw that movie, so I thought of District 9 instead.

I've gotten it before, since that is based more on him surviving over Aralakh being intact

Well, I've gotten the Bomb Explosion message from Wrex while he and Eve were still on my ship and the Bomb mission was still available... :-/ BioWare quality....
