Obviously bioware isn't done with the warden or hawke yet yet I've got a feeling that you will have an opportunity in a quest to track down your old warden or hawke for help in the inquisition i mean if you are trying to strengthen the organization why not look for one of the greatest heroes to ever live I feel like the seekers from Dragon Ages 2 ending thinks the warden or hawke depending or your descions can help quell the fighting in inquisition and seeing how cassandra and leliana were concerned about the warden and they will be in your inquisiton group what are your thoughts?
Wouldnt the warden or hawke be importnant to the inquisitor

I'm hoping that you'll be able to find them/track them down in Inquisition...though I am a bit concerned on how they're going to do the Warden, considering that the Warden wasn't voiced and it'd be a little disappointing if the Warden was involved but stayed a silent background character.

Isn't that what the seekers were basically trying to do? Track them down?

Why? Wardens jobs are to end the blight and otherwise fight darkspawn. That isn't what your inquisitor is doing, so they wouldn't have a reason to seek out the warden.
And if your Hawke ended up ruling the city then ok yeah then your inquisitor might need to talk to them if they need to work in or near that city. If not, why bother? Focus on where the problem is and who can and will help you fix it. And the problem is faderips.

I cant remember but I think Hawke does reappear for Inquistion. Warden alot of people are wanting to see come back so it might happen, how it happens or what not, no idea. We will see. I would like that to be honest. Remember, Leliana could been romanced, and she is in the group of Inquisition, so it can be likely to happen, if she was and the warden lived.

I understand the grey wardens don't get involved into anything but blights but that doesn't mean or will stop your warden from getting involved I mean in origins you could do things that weren't helpful in fighting the blight some endings were to story importnant not for your to appear or be very heavily mentioned in inquisition and isn't inquisition global which increases your chances of the inquisitor running into hawke or the warden

Warden and Hawke are going to be comebacks for the sake of comeback if they are going to be in the game.

I think the Warden's appearance in DA:I is doubtful but for the sake of speculation:
In the most recent trailer, we saw a fortress of Grey Wardens being attacked by the Inquisition. Perhaps that is a possibility based on the Inquisitor's actions or a fixed event, but the Warden could play an integral part in it. For example, the Inquisition may wish to find the Warden to peacefully resolve whatever conflict/issue it has with the Grey Wardens, or use him/her to convince the Wardens to temporarily forget about their neutrality (as the Hero of Ferelden had done) to bolster the Inquisition's ranks.
However, I personally wouldn't mind a silent Warden, as I think s/he is a person of actions over words.

I think that the both of them will make an appearance (providing the Warden is even alive). The devs have said, it's even on the wikia, that the Warden and Hawke play significant roles in Inquisition. My thought is that it might be a bit odd that Hawke might speak to you while the Warden just sort of sits silently in the background/nearby. I do think you have a point with the Grey Wardens though, but I'm not entirely sure if the grey wardens would forget their neutrality, seeing as the only reason they did so during Origins is because of the blight, the treaties, and the fact that there were only (technically) 2 of them left...not counting Riordan.

I hope they will leave my warden alone he left wardens a didn't care about their neutrality or other rules not mention they will just destroy my characters.I don't see how they are important in that conflict only inq can fix veil and the warden could end doing many different things.

Your warden mostly did things that would progress the fighting of the blight. Making sure the dwarves/elves/humans followed the treaties and helped you fight the blight.
Sure in some endings the warden could be queen of ferelden (or king) so you might expect to meet them then, but aside from that....your warden is busy with warden stuff.

not necessarily motives of your warden was up to you. You could do a lot things that had nothing common with blight and whether you belive in grey wardens philosophy was up to you as well what you wanted do after blight. You could want stay with wardens or just leave them in the end.

Well thanks to everyone who responded for my first bioware forum post I appreciate it y'all but the last thing that makes me think the warden is coming is morrigan lets say as the inquisitor you have the option to try to kill morrigan if you warden is alive and went with her into the eluvian he will be with her and will be protecting her

If you romanced Leliana, I wouldn't be surprised if during the game she mentions the Warden from time to time.

Leliana worked alongside the warden. Cullen knew Hawke - and took her/his side. I'm thinking as our maybe-advisors, they'll have intel on the warden and Hawke, and from that we may find out what happened to them. I smell a rescue quest, perhaps?
But hey. We'll just have to wait and seeee (:

Every time the Warden opens her mouth to speak, someone interrupts and says what she was going to say!
That's what they did to teenage Maggie Simpson too.

I really don't want either my Warden or Hawke to "be important" in this game. Brief cameos at the most. They had their time. This is my Inquisitor's story.

i like the idea that the warden was the idol of my inquisitor growing up.
if my inquisitor was like then 10-15 it make good sense.
the warden was a great warrior/rogue/mage
that stopt the blight in a year defeated a great general and some well know knights.bested the demon the mother and the father and is still alive. and so on.

While it would definitely be cool to see your Warden and Hawke make a cameo, i'm afraid that the risk of their appearances not showing correctly is too big, what with all the mods people have been using over the years.
