It wouldn't hurt The Inquisitor to have both Hawke/Warden's aid, regardless of which class either was they both have extensive combat experience, and if going by BW Cannon which IIRC was a Amell Mage Warden and a Mage Hawke(related to The Amell Mage Warden) both have extensive experience with The Fade and combating Fade Demons and also Darkspawn although its unlikely darkspawn would play a major part.

Oh, there are extensive combatants in Thedas; you don't need to go find those specific two.  They're just two people.  Unless you built a rogue, they didn't do it alone either, and you have two of their party members with you.

It's entirely possible that the Dark Ritual or Redeemer Warden is dead from the taint anyway.

And if I recall correctly, the "Bioware Canon" is Ultimate Sacrifice Dalish Warden.

It isn't bioware's job to keep track and take into account mods people used.
If someone's heavily modded heterochromic, scarred, yellow haired elf hawke doesn't look like she did then that's the user's problem.

I didn't say it was their problem. I just think a lot of people would find it distracting if their previous characters don't turn out right, regardless of them using mods or not. Just look at how many people were furios when their shepards didn't import correctly into ME3.

Except that it has only been about 10 years since the blight and the Warden probably wouldn't have heard the Calling yet so they couldn't be dead from the taint specifically (there is evidence that the taint wouldn't kill a Grey Warden anyways: See Larius etc). As for the "Bioware Canon" that only applies for the "default" world state if you don't import anything. In every other case then that default should never override the import canon if at all possible.

Hell, Varric could randomly start spouting out stories about "if hawke was here" or "did I tell you about that time we found red lyrium".

Quite honestly, if Varric did that, I'd be looking for the option to backhand him.

I'm hoping that Cassandra will give a quest that has you tracking down Hawke and Leliana gives you a quest to track down The Warden which has you crossing paths with Morrigan potentially.

Why are people so obsessed with having the Warden, Hawke and Inquisitor all together, all in the same game?

Continuity, attachment.

I spent 45 hours on my Warden ( played all DLC + Awakening ) and about 20 on Hawke.

They're also immensely strong ICly ( The Warden more so ) so it would make sense for them to show up when the bloody world is imploding.

I'm hoping we get to recruit the Warden and Hawke into the Inquisition.

I'm hoping we don't even see them. I love my Warden and my Hawke but if they showed up I would want them to look and act like they did in the previous games. I realize how hard that is going to be to pull off. So I would rather not see them at all then have a canon version of them show up. I was really disappointed when Revan and the Exile showed up in The Old Republic for that reason.

Umm........ I suddenly think I spend too much time listening to companions chat to each other. My last playthoughs of DA:O DA:OA and DA2 were 95 hours, 20 hours and 90 hours respectively. I kept going through chat points to listen to dialogue  .

Hawke should appear given his ties to the Mage Templar Conflict and how it began. But the Warden........ If they bring him in they should do it for the right reasons in relation to the storyline and not just to have him appear because hes awesome (which lets be honest. Everyones Warden is a walking Juggernaut of Darkspawn slaying destruction and anyone who actively seeks a fight with him needs to have their head examined once its removed). But I have no problem with them both appearing.

I completely agree.

30 years is more of a max limit of life rather than the average.  10 years is certainly in range for death (or severe derangement) by the taint.

I get the feeling that tracking down The Warden & Hawke will be important not sure why just a gut feeling but oh well.

I am indifferent about bringing them back honestly I can handle if they are brought back and I will be fine if not.

True. My Shepard didn't transfer to ME3 properly.
But I didn't get mad about it, I just rebuilt her as best I could and pretended that's how she always looked. Imagination is a useful thing.

As for the voice of any given warden, which I've been seeing as a major talking point around here, who cares? Everyone had voices in their heads for the FF7 characters before Advent Children came out too. I say just let it be; if they do bring back our wardens and they end up voicing them it isn't like Bioware is going to choose an actor who sucks as bad as the NWN2 ending narrator. If you don't like the voice, use your imaginations people. Failing that, just turn your volume down and the subtitles on.

Still I'd like to be able to control how my previous characters looked, but that could be a pipe dream in the end; however we'll see won't we?

Im curious, cause I just reopened DA origins again after.... um, too long. I realized Warden does get a voice to choose from. Its not thru the story but any action done, by pressing A button or what not for action button, he/she does talk. Why couldnt a warden talk then, if had couple choices like that in Origins did?  Just curious, as honestly, the voice I chose for the warden in Origins wouldnt be that big of a deal in Inquisition, if the warden was to show.

I think the Warden's appearance in DA:I is doubtful but for the sake of speculation:

In the most recent trailer, we saw a fortress of Grey Wardens being attacked by the Inquisition. Perhaps that is a possibility based on the Inquisitor's actions or a fixed event, but the Warden could play an integral part in it. For example, the Inquisition may wish to find the Warden to peacefully resolve whatever conflict/issue it has with the Grey Wardens, or use him/her to convince the Wardens to temporarily forget about their neutrality (as the Hero of Ferelden had done) to bolster the Inquisition's ranks.

However, I personally wouldn't mind a silent Warden, as I think s/he is a person of actions over words.

Just imagine your Warden giving you the death stare and or other silent treatments while remaining ever stoic. *Goosebumps*
