She did say that shes "done enough for the world" and that the "world has forgotten" her. Whatever her goal it seems to benefit the world, but what benefits the world may not benefit some of the people.

I'd say I'd rather side with Flemeth. As far as I can tell she never lies to you and only answers in very cryptic ways. With her you scratch her back and she'll scratch yours.

this is very true

Where she did anything for the world as far as i remember she have some problems with the world as she said that "world done something to her" if you try ask what she will say that "it is between me and world".

I may be getting ahead of myself here, but here goes......... remember that 'ring' Morrigan gave us?
She said it was to 'track' our movements............uh huh, suuure!
Makes me think back to that amulet that Flemeth had us deliver to "the Keeper".
I don't trust either of them, simply because I don't know anything about either of them, except the fact that, they both were instrumental in saving our sorry behinds.

Well you suggesting ring is to resurrect morrigan well i rather dubt that why she would gave it to the warden then? I mean there was ritual necessary for flemeth and she just gave it to the warden so it would be meaninglessness if that was in case as warden didn't know purpose of that ring and didn't know ritual to bring her back.
If you will keep ring epilogue says that it is bond between the warden and morrigan and in witch hunt she knew that warden is coming because she sensed ring.
But i agree with not trusting them.

Since reading "The Calling" I don't trust amulets or rings given to player characters and such from people they barely know. So for that sake Morrigan's ring I actually do sorta trust.

For romance, Morrigan. For power, Flemeth. For small talk, neither. For saving my ass, both.

I always pick the non-of-the-above options when being asked to pick sides. I miss neutral paths. ![]()

Even friendshipped romanced Morrigan is all about power and control and survival of the fittest. Flemeth seems to be thinking in terms of the big picture and guiding events to a desirable outcome. I love Morrigan but she seems narrow minded and short sighted Flemeth is who I would trust.

Both characters are going to have some interesting relationships with our character in this game, lets see how that plays out before anything else.

Morrigan obviously. I know her better and had sex with her...hell! My Warden had a child by her! Flemeth is too unknown.

While, in my umpteenth run-through, I befriended Morrigan... (friends close and frienemies closer) I could not help but admire the raw awesomeness of an "Old God" that was Flemeth.
That said, though, I'd side with... Me! Least I know where my dagger will be planted at the end of a day!

Flemeth obviously.
Morrigan's arrogance and lust for power needs to be curbed, plus I really respect Flemeth and I never killed her in Origins.

This is a very big picture question. As the Warden I'd pick Morrigan over Flemeth because I like her more and Flemeth is probably an outsider. Also if you romance Morrigan the stakes are too high, she carries your child. As the Inquisitor, it really depends on who is the enemy really ;p
But as myself with the knowledge I have about both women, I don't think that this choice would be about "who you'd support" rather than "who you'd kill". I'd prefer to kill Flemeth over Morrigan. I think that the world of Thedas is flawed in it's current state and needs people like these, but one outclasses the other by far too much that is impossible to actually grasp the extend of her power unless we witness it. Both are dangerous and both are the enemy of the current world order but Flemeth is the only one that actually can see the whole picture, while Morrigan was born into this game and was groomed to play a part. So after all, Morrigan is benign in comparison.
Also for all her ability to lie and mislead, once you see Morrigan for what she is, you pretty much know her. She has these big ideas like the Dark Ritual, she even tells you about it and you can deny her, then she becomes arcane advisor to the Empress. She is always in the radar for something. Flemeth is elusive and you can never tell if she is a mastermind or she just talks destiny nonsense and just takes credit although you suspect the first. She is always several steps ahead.
It's impossible to judge Flemeth on human standards and she seems to have the ability to either save the world or destroy it. Can you take on faith that it's the first?

I got a burn the whole world vibe from Flemeth when I met her.
Morrigan just seemed like things need to change or everyone dies type person especially after With Hunt & The Dark Ritual
