Once Upon A Time is a show based around fairytale characters living in a fictional town in Maine called Storybrooke, placed there without memories of who they really were by a curse. A bail bonds person named Emma is reunited with her long since given up son Henry as they travel to Storybrooke and unravel the mystery of what is going on.

So, I've recently picked this show up as an interest. I guess that makes me a "Oncer" now(the name for the fandom).

 

Anyone else a fan of the show? Any other Oncers on the forums? Lets talk about it!

Yeah, I watch it too from time to time (too many TV shows, you know?). I've only recently started watching Season 3. The characters are usually quite interesting and Rumple pretty much steals the show.

And yes that was Elsa in the 3rd season finale. The producers confirmed that Elsa and Anna are coming in Season 4, as well as a potential Arendelle appearance(which I imagine they have to do to explain the origin stories).

I enjoy its light fluffiness but I wouldn't miss it if it was cancelled...except Jennifer Morrison.

Writers have said yes.

I LOVE this show.  It and svu are all I regularly watch.

First an evil Peter Pan then the Wicked Witch (Hot) and now Frozen too. This keeps getting better.

Also, Prince they had a spinoff which ended that was titled OUAT In Wonderland with Emma Rigby (Hot) as the new Red Queen.

Wonder how Elsa will stack up with the rest of the cast, once we know who's portraying her.

 

I'm just glad Meghan Ory is back as Ruby/Red Riding Hood. She was gone for a little bit in her new show Intelligence, but the show tanked and was cancelled, so she's back.

I had zero interest in Wonderland so never watched it.

 

Yes, Raphael Sbarge is great as Dr. Hopper!  But he hasn't been on much this season, he started a new show (Murder in the First).  Which I haven't watched yet.

 

I have so many favorite characters on this show I can't pick.  And I'm afraid to say too much because of spoilers for people who might not have seen it all yet.

I tried to watch this on Netflix once, but I gave up after the first 2 episodes. The market sure does seem to be reaching the point of low-fantasy saturation though.

I liked Kaidan in ME, but something about Raphael Sbarge himself kinda turns me off. Does that even make sense?

I've been aware of this show for about a year or so now and I have always wanted to start watching it since I love the concept but to the best of my knowledge none of the tv channels that I have in Ireland carry it and I can't find any reliable sites online that would stream it so thanks for the link LPPrince. I'll check it out later.

The timing is also perfect since a lot of the shows that I watch are currently done for the season so I now have some spare time in the evenings.

I can see how the show wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. Its the kind of show that either works for you or doesn't, I think.
