I think it would have been a better plot twist if your sibling (or Anders) can't die and can only become a Grey Warden and as a required companion in Legacy, and then Corypheus would go into the Grey Warden sibling (or Anders),instead of Janeka/Larius.

What you think?

No I don't think so. Hawke's life is already depressing enough.

No. It would be extremely annoying. The Deep Roads expedition should not have two mandatory companions, because it doesn't really make sense. Moreover, this would take away from some possible story paths that you can get in the main game. I prefer Circle mage Bethany's effect on the story. Just the same, those that like the conflict between mage Hawke and the Templars with Templar Carver would also have this taken away.

No Anders is an awful character as it is, the best thing that ever happens him is when you kill him.

Then the DA2 story would possibly not make any sense any more. What if you get Anders posessed in Act2 or something? Why would Corypheus want to blow up a chantry? An ancient Tevinter magister and evil Darkspawn overlord surely has bigger plans.

In addition, isn't Anders body already kind of occupied with Justice. I mean two is company but three is a crowd.

Also I like the branching storylines of the Siblings. So I'd rather keep them.

Exactly!

Huh, I thought for a moment Corypheus wasn't killed.

Thankfully, any and all reasonable game-writers would ditch Cory like yesterday. :D

I want to know why if Corypheus can transfer to a new host ala an Archdemon, shouldn't it also be possible to kill him like an Archdemon? You know....having Bethany, Carver, or Anders make the killing blow?

The if still remains I guess. If nothing becomes of Corypheus, then he might as well be dead. As for whether or not a Warden Carver or Bethany can actually kill him for good, it's a fair assumption, but I suppose it doesn't matter, because from their perspective, they have no way to know or suspect that Corypheus may have transferred his consciousness to a nearby Warden.

They don't have to know it - just kill Larius/Janeka to be sure. They can be genre savvy.

I can't speak for Janeka, since I've never sided with her, but after Hawke kills Corypheus, Larius's posture and tone of voice change rather dramatically.
