It's more like one hand (the mouse) is super awesome and worthy of the Master Race title. But the other hand (keyboard) is a completely antiquated POS compared to the comfortable, ergonomic design of console controllers.

Man, I've spent a time w PS2,3 and X360. There is unbreakable rule: Fightings are for consoles, FPS's and RTS's are for PC, RPG's are for nerds.

WSAD is much more ergonomical in terms of positionning (strafing). Mouse wins everything else hands down.

I've yet to encounter a controller I'd find comfortable and ergonomic. Why do they all have to be so tiny?

Please.. just thinking about strafing while using two powers assigned to the number keys makes my hands ache. I can do that while completely relaxed on the 360.. while you PC boys do hand acrobatics on your keyboards. My PC is only for RTS games.. simply bc there aren't enough buttons on a console controller for it to ever perform properly.

You can bind them to any key you want, if you are uncomfortable with number keys. Some bind those to mouse thumb buttons and such.

Because it's totally impossible to reassign the keys and/or to purchase mouse with addititonal buttons. Such an engineering mistery.

My powers are mapped to Q, E and F. I can easily press any of them while strafing.

 

There are also mouses with dozens of buttons, you can use those too.
