Apparently the previous thread was blocked for containg spoilers - none that I could identify, that aren't in every other thread in this forum, but whatever.

I do think it is strange that Bioware can create possibly their largest ever amount of romance options in a game and not throw us anything in the way of bi/gay romance options. I wouldn't lose hope for ME3, but it is certainly a big disappointment.

I doubt it is a likely DLC candidate, I think it would be odd to have a romance-based DLC of any kind. Perhaps they're just going after the Infinity Ward fans? Who knows, but surely the acceptance of same-sex romance options in DAO can give them a clue...

If there were a same-sex DLC, I'd buy it. But still, I doubt they'll have one.

A same sex romance is entire possible for a DLC, and would be a lot easier than other kinds since most of the coding and scripting is already in the game. We should push for it.

Yeah... I don't think I'll stick around this thread very long because even my tolerance for ignorance was being tested but like I said before I'm not writing it off until I know for CERTAIN it's been confirmed/denied. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

Psh..It wasn't locked cuz of spoilers. There are spoilers just about in every thread. It was locked cuz BioWare didn't want to have to deal with the decision they made and the backlash.

Fair enough, although I'm probably being too harsh on the MW fans.

And anyway, I think anybody who can sit down and enjoy a long, rambling (in a good way) Bioware story is capable of not getting pissed off (perhaps even enjoying?) by the presence, purely optional, of a same-sex romance. You can't tell me that wasn't at least part of the reasoning behind little miss blue in ME1.

I would normally agree with you, but in this case I would actually pay for a DLC that allows me to romance Tali. 
Very disappointed in Bioware this time around. Hopefully the rest of the game will make up for that disappointment.

I agree, who plays a Bioware game not expecting some sort of homosexual romance option.

I'd be speechless if that were the case (and I have a bit more faith in BioWare than that, I may be a fool but who knows)

Even if there aren't any in the actual game then we sure should still be able to talk about it... I've got faith!

No, it's not confirmed, but several people have started playing through the game, and looking through the various files, and no one has found evidence of same-sex romances.

Given that I've seen Samara featured in a number of 'romance' articles, I thought she might be one, and I still hope but...
