I'd love body sliders and stuff, but that's not possible. Atleast not in Inquisition. Hopefully BioWare will be able to implement that in future titles.

Indeed. I'd dear love to make a PC who looks like they could play in the Highland games.

I know it probably won't happen, but I'd love if Bioware does something to this depth:

Spoiler

that is one impressive CC..

This. This x1000. I like this human, s/he understands.
It would be really nice to have more options in the short hair department.

short hair in DAO where horrible. With Cass hairstyle in DA2 was a little better (but too limited!!!) but no pointy elven ears to show...sigh. :(

Don't remind me, those hairstyles made me wish that consoles could use mods...there was maybe one short hairstyle that I liked, which brought me to have almost all my wardens with either the same hair or a buzzcut. :pinched:

On a totally unrelated note, I love your avatar, every time I see it I feel a bit nostalgic. I miss PK and Uno.

So I was creating my second Hawke today and once again I came to the realization that the flaw with these creators for me is that I do not know what the heck a lot of the stuff does. :P  Or its VERY hard to see the changes as they effect the face in the character creator, you can fiddle with it, but i want it more clearer as to what we are actually changing and what the effects are.  Zoom in on that element, or better yet highlight it so we can still see the face as a whole as well as the other bits.

It depends on how BioWare handles the new engine.

Traditionally, BioWare has done the whole Lego body parts thing to save money on designing armor. That's why DAO had dwarves with human arms, etc. And that's probably one of the reasons for DA2 being...DA2, what with only human characters really being given consideration armor-wise.

It's a shame BioWare isn't going the modding route like Bethesda does. Even if Bethesda made a mediocre part of a game, there's thousands of players who work to improve it.

I hope Bioware gave the CC a complete overhaul but I wont hold my breath I figure we will just get DA2s CC but with a few new options like Horns,Hair and Scars.

I still want them to add Mass Effects Face ID Code system that way recreating characters wouldnt be as difficult completely remaking them can be a pain at times.

Oh and the ability to edit the different Races default appearance would be great no more Sheploo thanks.

The code thing would also allow us to input the code into the keep so that the appearence can be used in subsaquint games.

I liked only one hairstyle, and it didn't showed the ears of my elf warden. It was always a war between good looking character VS elven like character. Sometimes I had to use an hight ponytail, haistyle that I really hate,  <_<

fistbump, fellow PKer!!!  I hope the mini adventures in Paperinik Upgrade are going well, so we can see in the future more of PK and U.N.O. =] the first serie was great. "potere potenza!" :alien:

Yes, the fact that as an elf you either had to cover up the ears (thus leading to me sometimes forgetting that my charname was an elf and being surprised when someone in conversation would use some anti-elven slur like "knife-ear": "Make way, knife-ear!" Me: "What? My PC is a human, not an elf...oh wait.") or to use not so good hairstyles to show them pointy ears wasn't exactly a good thing.
So, let's hope that there are more varied short/pixie haircuts this time around. :)

Yay! *highfives*
Wait, they are doing some kind of remake? I'm a bit out of the loop, need moar info! :o
(Perhaps it's better to take the PK nerding to PMs as to not derail the thread ^^')

ok, I'll send you a PM.  :) (by the way, "potere e potenza" is Evron's motto. I don't know how it was translated outside of Italy)

I loved play DAO on console, since my old laptop would have runned away only taking out of the box the cd's  (I still don't know how I played ME1 on it.) but the base CC was unforgiving. creating a good looking character was almost impossible. :? expecially ane elven looking one.

I like my character with short, pratical, tomboysh hairstyles. I hope, with the female character who show short hair (Cassandra, Sera) that the CC this time will give us a chance to have better short hairstyles. :)

Thanks. :)  (I have no idea if the comic was translated in other languages since I read it in Italian - I'm Italian myself. ^^)

I hear you, I had to rely on consoles for the longest time since I only recently bought a decent laptop that can run games without too much trouble. Yeah, the characters w/ mod look way better, I agree wholeheartedly.
Ditto, if my charnames have to fight they need practical hair as to not be hindered by it during combat. Besides, I have a soft spot for short hairstyles. :)
So yeah, I really hope that the options will be more varied this time around...at least let me have something similar to Sera or Cass.

Decent black colour for the hair, Zaeed levels of scarring, Body Tattoos, differing Elf Ears, having more Musculature Bulk, and more facial hair styles.

Greetings, fellow countrymen. ^_^

So far, the best CC I have ever seen on console is the Dragon's Dogma one: there are a lot of options, both for the body and for the face, thus allowing the creation of characters with very distinct and unique looks. I know that we won't have body sliders in DA:I, but having roughly the same number of options that DD has for both face and hairstyles would be very welcome. :)

My big one is scars. I think all CC should have scars for both males AND females and they should be more or less even. You see too many dainty scars for females. Sometimes I just want a badass scared up female. She doesn't need to be a super model. Also, extending scars to the body would be awesome though obviously not something I'd ever expect to see. That and tattoo that cover more than just the face.

I remember being slightly miffed that my ME2 version of my pargon shepard lost her huge scars from the Blitz. those scars added a sort of physical story to the character and since this was a paragon playthough the chances of  this Shepard getting scars  again were unlikey so scars are big for me too they add substance to a story that only the player knows

If you are going to say that Skyrim did it better, I would agree and disagree at the same time.  Yes there is the ability to make the body types look different, but at the same time all the armor looks the same because they had to spend a lot of time to make sure the armor works on the body-type scales.  So now you have the development decision of do you please the people that want more body types or the people that want armor to look different?

yes. the only game where I could create the character I liked without regretting a PC. The only problem was the fact that to restart the game you had to delete the old character.

I want to be a bad ass ******. I would want the option to add scarring and epic warpaint combined with a decent female body with nothing 'too much' that would that throw it off balance. Like the enormous boobies of Hawkette and gigantic hands in DA:O. Nothing to extravagant like Black Desert ;)
