I feel like we should have a sex appeal slider like in Saint's Row

Adjusting the size of a dude's crotch roflmao xD

It'd be cool yet ridiculously amazing if Bioware could beg the Sims side of EA to borrow their expansive CC options :3

Bioware is OK at Character Creator not good like Bethesda with TES  and Fallout; Dragon's Dogma had a great CC along with SR4. ME was the worst of the two in recent games and DA has some lackluster areas as well. I hope they have some expanded and varied features this time around.

IT should definitely not be anything like Fallout or even Elder Scrolls -- They had atrocious CC's with weird sliders that made it almost impossible to make a decent looking character to a point where mods became a necessity. Dragon's Dogma was fine though & SR4 has the advantage of being based on SR2 with one of the greatest CCs ever and a game with ton amount of customization options. Doubtful it's gonna be that detailed though.

Also, I agree with the user on the last page -- Piercings would be cool.. and freckles too.

Muscle size and definition would be my request. I'd like to make a female warrior with some mass behind her, and I'm sure people would like to make a mage who doesn't look like he lifts cows for a living.

I'd like to be able to give my character some tribal style piercings and warpaint, especially if I was trying to role play a barbarian character. I'd also like different ear types for elves and hopefully they'll be a horn slider for Qunaris in Inquisitionand have the option to have no horns (has this been confirmed?) As many others have already stated in this thread more beard, hair and tattoo options would be cool as well as being able to add scars.

I'm new here, this is my first post. Nice too meet you all :)

I would have liked heterochromia for my characters - different colored eyes are fun. Also freckles, scars, burns, tattoos, paint - anything on the face.
Dont really need a bodyslider since it may take away from a heavy amount of cinematics. If i want to play a skinny girl i will go for an elf, if large - qunari, and so on.

Saints Row definitely has the best CC I know of.

Everything worse than that I prefer to have presets I can choose different features from.

Playing SRTT and SRIV as a Scarlett Johansson was awesome and hilarious.

Every extra tool that's out there for characters I've used. Gibbed, ME3Lazarus, DAToolset. Give me a bunch of offsetbones properties and you'll keep me entertained for days.

I really hope modders devise a way to alter offsetbones for DA:I as well because once you've used them, the normal CC feels short of options, especially if you prefer facial features that aren't very common in America/Canada.

Besides from extensive facial options, including different head shapes, I'd like to edit the various bodily aspects as well, like leg and arm length, boob and butt size, hips, thighs...

I have a thing with larger than 'average' butt-sizes, and in a game like Star Wars: Old Republic I tended to mostly use female body type 4...

So yes I'd like this option, even when it might cause clipping issues to a certain height.

Bioware has always been good at giving us character creation options, but how would you expand on them? Would you like a fat slider, Asian eyes, boob options lol, customize the pointy-ness of your Elf's ears, more skin colors, a more furrowed brow?

And what else?

EDIT: Post some pictures of beards and hair that you would like to see too!

It's hard to make a case against variety on any grounds outside of resource allocation. There's a lot better places resources can be spent than adding the 152nd mustache or the 55th earlobe structure. But in a perfect world, we'd have control over every cell in the character's body because customizing One-hundred Trillion cells (100,000,000,000,000) would be just fantastic.

Looking at this issue through the eyes of a developer sympathizer/Apologist, I just have to say it's amazing the kind of variety Bioware is already giving us, with four highly distinct races across two very different genders, so I'm reluctant to ask for anything else as it seems like a lack of gratitude.

Hope the hairstyle selection is decent. The companions got me a little worried.

Though the prospect of recreating Simple Jack in DAI's cc seems like it'll be fun.

I can understand due to the headache in all those scenes with varied body types would be difficult, but I wouldn't mind seeing tattoos, scars (moles?) on the body such as their arms. If they can change skin tone, why not patterns on the skin.

Welcome to the forums. Nice too meet you too :) That is an interesting idea about no horns. All I know is there will be different horns to chose from.

I just found an article that says "brand new facial customization system that offers over a billion possible faces" for DA:I :)

After I get my copy, and install it on my PC, and make sure it's not going to explode my desktop just playing the intro movie, I'm gonna be spending another two hours making my Inquisitor look just right before I even get to start playing. If there are a billion faces. Holy crap.  :o

Uhh... scars would be great  :D

Very deep beard customization.  I need my beard to be a chiseled masterpiece like Michelangelo's.   I want every individual strand of hair to have at least 5000 polygons.

It's not as much as it'd seem if there is a scale every value would count for every other scale 6 scales of 10 values would already have insane amounts of combinations

All of thes have (most likely) been mentioned before, but I'd like to see body type, long hair for both genders and burn scars as additional options in the CC. :-)

Yeah but I already spend that much time in the CC in the first two games.  Not to mention all the trips back to the Black Emporium. But I'm not obsessed. Really I'm not.

Well I would like to see some sort of body slider that changes weight from slim to broad. I won't use the word fat because you can't fight well being fat :)

Maybe separate sliders for boobs and butts but an all round weight slider would suffice.

Body sliders would be really interesting. I'd love to make some characters with, outside of the norm, gender expressions. Like androgynous, feminine male, etc.

Edit: Accessories and piercing would be a nice addition as well!
