I'm very surprised that Bioware hasn't incorporated body sliders to vary the physicality of the races to some degree. given that they've gone to great lengths to allow players every type of romance option imaginable? I get that dwarven, elven, and Qunari builds should all somewhat resemble each other, but there should be some variance allowable to better reflect individual body types beyond a basic racial structure.

I sincerely hope the CC this time around is as detailed as the devs say.I tend to make only below average/ugly characters, but im always struggling to get it right. Most of the time they just look cartoonishly ugly, and when im done fixing that they are to pretty.
To this day Dragons Dogma is the only game where i could succesfully make a believably bad looking character.
Hopefully DA:I can rectify that.

They already have enough clipping issues with their preset bodies.
Bodysliders also often result in much fewer body types. Skyrim had just one per gender for all races +kids

I wish I could tweak and micromanage every tiny detail like in The Sims and Saints Row
(for bodies too)

However Capcom managed to incorporate their vast assortment of body types and sizes in Dragon's Dogma/Dark Arisen then~

The complete and utter absence of any and all cutscene cinematics.

Well I would like to see some sort of body slider that changes weight from slim to broad. I won't use the word fat because you can't fight well being fat
Maybe separate sliders for boobs and butts but an all round weight slider would suffice.
Yes you can.

I would like a variety of piercings for the face and ears, also earring options and decorations for qunari horns.
For my Female Qunari I think the Bridge, Nose and Septum Piercing would look pretty cool and maybe with a tattoo! Maybe not all at the same time, but wouldn't mind the option. (same for female dwarf)

I don't normally post, but I have something to add to this. Listening to the panels at GaymerX has emboldened me, so:
I'm normally happy enough to make do with whatever they give us in the cc, but, I identify as androgynous (not a man or a woman), and a couple of relatively minor additions would go a long way towards making me (and others with a similar identity) feel comfortable and represented - without demanding something totally unreasonable, like a whole new gender.
Just using resources that are already there, it would be so awesome to see a gender animation toggle. (I think the female running and idle animations are my least favourite thing about DA2, and I'm sad to see the undulating run make its way to DAI as well.) It would also be really lovely to have access to some of the male hair options (those that have a low enough hairline) for women, and some of the female hair options for men - tweaked to fit.
That's my plea to the devs, for future cc features. And thanks, Bioware, for being open to unconventional requests.

More hairstyles, eye colors and makeup (esp. eyeliner) options would be much appreciated, since those are the things I usually mod.

All of the above?
I guess long hair for both genders, the CC code for importing past pcs, and physique/curves would be the first things on my list (after race selection that we have). I love the Dragon's Dogma and Saint's Row ones. Armor/clothes would have to adapt to the mesh though... Also, an online gallery to share and import our character designs. And wow that cc video earlier in the thread is nice. ![]()

Physique. It's always strange to me to have a mage that has the exact same build as my warrior.
I dont understand why mages cannot work out. Just because they dont need the physique doesnt mean they cannot have it. Not every ripped person is a professional athlete. People work out for a large variety of reasons not just for their profession

Have a look at the link in my sig to the faces of gaming. You can store your character designs there. It used to be Mass Effect 2 only, but they gave expanded into all Bioware games, plus 28 more ![]()

True. As a semi-professional weight lifter / power lifter I don't exercise more than 75 minutes per day, and thats absolutely sufficient. I guess any mage can find an hour a day to stay in shape.

The complete and utter absence of any and all cutscene cinematics.
There were about as many cutscenes in Dragon's Dogma as in either Origins or DA2.

My 'Hurley with dreadlocks' Arisen, and 'Fat Ron Burgundy' Jedi Consular beg to differ.

The sad thing will be the fact that we can't edit in whatever we like because Frostbite... My Avatar (while still pretty "tame" regarding modded appearance) wouldn't have been possible without mods. And considering that BioWare never managed to implement proper hair in any of their games I still think that Inquisition will disappoint me on that part...
