That's the two romances I haven't done yet, mshep/kaidan or mshep/cortez.... or mshep/liara for that matter, so I guess it's three romances, heh.

Hi people

This is my first play through of the series. Really enjoying it so far. Bioware always impresses me.

I'm new to network/gaming. Not sure about post etiquette, but i had a question related to this topic and if anyone can offer some insight id appreciate it...

In Mass effect 1 i had a relationship with Liara, I then imported my game in ME 2,(i inadvertently wound up with jack, but found her character arc really heart lifting).
In ME 3 Ive just repelled the cerberus attack on Citidel but have recieved no message from her on my terminal since, "my project," During which i asked her to tell my story.

I did receive messages from: James, Traynor, Diana, Cortez, and Jack in purgatory (I ended it)

I have read that Garrus and Ashely/Kaiden, send you messages which i haven't received either

Also, early on i told Liara i was happy to see her on board the Normandy for the first time.
I've played all the DLC up through ME2, and i have all the content for ME 3 but have kept from starting it yet.
I've followed the paragon path(about 3/4)

Thanks for your time, GoodGaming

Sony Shepard  ;)

You need to do one mission after the Coup before Liara sends you a message about meeting on the Presidium.

I sincerely doubt there is a difference between an mshep liaramance and a femshep one.

I'm not a big fan of MShep/Liara romance. Nothing against anybody who plays it, but for me, it'll always be FemShep/Liara.

That said, there is some really great MShep/Liara fanart out there that I genuinely love. Quite peculiar, really.

Probably not much, I agree. It's just that whenever I played a mshep in ME1, Ash romance seemed to fit better.

Exactly. I felt they had a real chemistry in ME3. Credit to the VA's I guess.

There are no differences between MShep/Liara and FShep/Liara except for slight animation differences.

That said, Liara joins Tali and Jack in my "not doing that again" column. Miserable experience.

Very much agreed :) Though I've seen posters on this forum claiming the same for MShep/Liara, so I guess it's all down to personal preferences. But yeah, I really felt the chemistry between Hale and Hillis.

Probably helped by the fact that they Hale admitted that Liara was her favourite romance as well, so she probably put some extra effort in there.

Really? I heard Hale comment on the good bye scene with Garrus in ME3 and how that choked her up. I got the impression she liked the Garrus romance.

Yeah, I believe she said something like that as well. And it was performed superbly, mind you. That said...

Ok, not quite the same, but hopefully you get what I meant :)

I wish we could romance outside of the options given to us  each game. Any romances you wished were in ME Trilogy?

There is a very recent thread on this topic: http://forum.bioware...been-an-option/

oh lol OP! She cannot have kids so it's no romance for u?

Wow.

potato<>potatoe I guess. Seems pretty low to me. My femshep romances Garrus with no biological way of having kids. She loves him despite the fact he'll never directly father her children.

@ Massa FX its not that she cant have kids but that she has Benign Neoplasm. Disgusted an turned me off. ATM I'm playing an No romance Male Adept.

So ... it's the disease itself? That's even more bizarre, C. Why?

You do know it can't hurt you, right? It's not like it's infectious.

This confuses me. I would understand being disgusted by something visible, like dermal changes of the skin, but benign neoplasm is internal and you can't see anything.

So really, I have hard time understanding what disgusts you so.

Benign tumors in the reproductive system are not uncommon. And not exactly visible.

@Mordokai Something doesn't have to be visible to disgust someone
