Right. With six het love options and no same-sex one in sight, wanting a single same-sex option is the same as wanting EVERYTHING to be gay.

I would guess cause heterosexuality is the norm.
There is quite a lot of homosexuality going around these days on TV.

I'm just saying what Bioware wishes it could say to these threads. It's stupid for the same person to keep posting about the same damn topic. Especially when the previous thread they started was locked.
'BioWare' doesn't wish to say anything. Various developers and writers might want to say something. It's obvious that some are open to the idea of same-sex romances while others are not.

Why is it that when it's concerning same-sex relationships it's considered "advertising"? You don't get any complaints about the blatant "advertising" of heterosexuality of Sheploo from the trailers and the interviews do you? No one bats an eyelash when Sheploo is considered the "ladies' man." Watch out, he might impregnate you while you aren't looking!Personally for me its whatever. People like what they like. But what I cannot stand is when people who prefer same sex relationships get in my face and start blatently advertizing their sexuality. I dont do that and its quite rude.

When I said this i was refering to IRL happenings. Iv seen gay parades and gay couples and while the majority of gay couples were normal in since that they where just like any couple. The people I speak of are the men wearing thongs and going out in public places. Its the streaming bright colored screaming IM GAY AND PROUD homosexuals that i dislike.
I get it your gay. Not shut up and get ready to be miserable with the rest of us. If you really advocate that type of behavior for homosexuals then you are hurting your cause more then legal bills against it

I'm still holding out for Samara for my FemShep. If it weren't for Casey's 'no f/f romance' line, I'd hope for a Talimance, Miranda, or Subject Zero option. I hope there's somewhere to mod the PC version if nothing else.
I love how you girls are all for like any of the women. You're so diverse! It's not a big deal to me as I don't really prefer -any- of the men... So again my Shepard will be single!

plzz anyone what was the "FOX" thing
Fox News is a mouthpiece of the ultra-conservative branch of the conservative party in the US. It is also like the third highest ranked news network. (Maybe second.)
Their most heinous host caught wind of the fact that there was a sex scene where people actually took their clothes off in ME1. He was in an uproar, and rounded up the usual guest 'experts' to generally spend an hour or so condemning the game for corrupting the minds of minors the world over and generally calling Bioware pimps and worse.
Then the world pointed and laughed at Fox News for a few seconds.

It was the f/f romance that got me into ME1 and DA:O, but I enjoyed these games regardless of the f/f romance after all. Even tho the possibility of romancing Samara might be close to zero, which makes me really disappointed, I still look forward to playing the game and have pre-ordered my copy. Having same-sex romances definitely attracts more players and yet it does not drive out players who are not interested in same-sex romances. I just think it's unwise to not include same-sex romances in ME2.

Ok, while I do support the option for samesex romance in BioWare games, especially since they are practically the only ones who do it in western games, This Picture Was Hilarious, I lol'd.
Although, I would have done the topic better. Making it a demand rather than a discussion turns it into either a flame war or a petition thread, which doesn't help at all, it doesn't show interest, but frustration. Should make it "Samesex Romance in ME" and just turn it into a discussion instead, like what would you like to see in ME3? In future instalments? In other BW games? Would having stereotypes (some ppl assumed SuZe was lesbian/bi) be a huge disappointment? Should they make more bisexual or completely homosexual love interests?
Edit: Honestly, anything that fits into the story imo, I'd hate to have them throw in a LI only for it to shatter the immersion.

I have preferences but.. any port in a storm!
I really think BioWare spends more time with the female NPC love interests. I notice Jacob still doesn't have a single video while Miranda gets as much time as DudeShep.
If BioWare were to make a romance love interest for you, what would you want him to be like?

Fox is not even close to "ultra conservative". Maybe for a news station, cause most of the morons on TV are ignorant lefties and shill for the dumbcrats. There also is not a "conservative party" as far as I know.
I wonder why it is people don't cry more about Hilary Clinton's whole crusdae against "sex" on GTA. Oh, wait, I forgot, cause public education system tends to only vomit out clueless lefties completely ignorant of history.

I'm getting it as a gift, so it doesn't matter.
If the 'no same-sex romances' hints are true, would I still buy it? Maybe. Probably not when it first comes out. I'm a BioWare fan, but Mass Effect is one of my least favorite games from them.
I became a BioWare fan when I played Jade Empire, and my PC got to kiss the princess. I grew up reading fairytales and watching the princess always end up with the dude on the horse always rubbed me the wrong way. It was nice for to feel as though my fantasies were being catered to for once.
That my FemShep could Kirk with blue alien space babes was certainly more of a draw than driving the MAKO.
