5kg/11lbs seems high, based on images of it I've seen so far. I'd guess..... half that weight, I think. 2.5kg/5.5lbs maybe. I can't imagine what would weigh enough to kick the total weight that much higher, unless the figurines are cast lead maybe.

I have been looking at the inquisitors edition myself but i dont see the point in paying an extra £60-£70 for some stuff that is only going to collect dust on a shelf and never get used past the 1st look upon opening the box. If it was around £80 and not £130 i would probably reconsider but as it stands i have just preordered the digital deluxe edition on PSN. I do have the 1st 2 games on both pc and ps3 but ive quit pc gaming so probably wont buy it for pc until price drops down considerably. I dont have the disk versions for the dragon age games on ps3 i got them from the PS store and im one of those who prefers to either have all the games in a series either on disk or as a download and not mixed. 

 

I guess living on a budget makes me think differently plus i have bills to pay, my degree to think about and im due to have a baby in a couple of weeks so my gaming days aren't over but are limited.

I even avoided the Deluxe Edition. The bonuses aren't enough important to me to make me pay 10 extra euros. Plus, I think it will be available in DLC, so maybe I will buy it after my first playthrough, in order to have little added contents for my second. But that's all.

Yeah..... I preordered the Digital Deluxe the day they released it for both Xbox 360 & PC. Then, my husband cancelled the PC one when the Inquisitor Edition was announced, and preordered that instead. He justified it by making it my birthday gift as my birthday is in late September. It's gonna be an awesome not-birthday.

Unfortunately not. It's a GameStop exclusive. No other retailers sell it.

 

You might be able to find a workaround, though, like having GameStop ship it to a US address and then getting a shipping company to send it over to you.

For the poor soul asking about the weight, I can say that to ship a package weighing up to 4oz (120g), which is about what a video game weighs with packaging, it costs about $2 US if you're going regular mail.  International raises rates in the US to about double that if nothing special is being shipped.  I make glass art IRL and am pretty used to shipping internationally.  I live in the US and my best customer is in Canada, so I'm familiar with the post in both countries.  If you buy a copy here and have it shipped I hope it works out for you.  It will not cost an arm or a leg unless the destination makes it that way.  If you buy a copy that isn't geared for use in Europe, you're still going to run into the platform issues.

I hope that I get my Inquisitor's Edition mailed to me on November 18th now.  I am just worried that something might go wrong logistically, and that some of the Inquisitor's Editions won't be mailed out because of the release date change.

 

I bought mine from Gamestop a couple months ago.

will there be any in-game/digital content that comes with the inquisitor's edition but not the deluxe edition? or will any in-game kinda stuff also come with inquisitors, as well with the deluxe edition? i know the inquisitor edition has the deluxe edition but i just want to make sure before i buy anything that there if there will be any in-game content especially for the inquisitors edition.

I could be wrong but i believe the only difference between the deluxe edition and the inquisitors edition is the physical extras you get like the lockpick set etc. I think they both have the same in-game extra content.

It's going to be another period of years before the NEXT dragon age game comes out, so shelling out some extra bucks for physical items in a collectors edition for those of us who REALLY get into this franchise is just the ticket to ramp up the appropriate level of nerd love. 

 

We will surely be treated to additional DLC campaigns before the Inquisition runs its course, and even with a main game pushing fifty hours; plus almost as much content from side quests, I look forward to getting my collectors edition stuff in the worst possible way.

 

I do sympathize with fans that are unable to purchase this item, and certainly wish that every potential customer had been offered the same opportunity to buy the greater version. Maybe we need to form a support group or something?

sxx1 > it's possible for me to have it at 45€ via the discount keys websites, but that isn't the question. The Deluxe hasn't any in-game goodies which interest me. So, even at 45€, I will prefer buy a lower version at 35€.

I live in the US and the Gamestop down the road from me the Manager told me they were limited to 6 copy's as were the others in the area, Unfortunately they were sold out before they even unlocked the door's that morning they were first advertised as the employees bought all the copy's.

An I usually always buy CE's from Bioware just not this time around, sigh!

I think thats wrong cus those employees would of known about them before the public did and when they were to be made available for preorder. For employees they shud be made to make their preorders from a different store than the one they work in making them actually look around for a copy like the rest of those who want the inquisitors edition. 

I live in the UK not the US and i know gamestop is deemed more popular there than it is here but i think the same should apply for all the gaming stores around the world.

Anyone have any real information on if our pre-orders of the Inquisitor's Edition will be affected at all by the delay?  Since Gamestop mails the Inquisitor's Edition to your address instead of you picking it up in store, I am just worried that there will be some oversight somewhere and my package won't be delivered on time.

When I asked my local Gamestop about my preorder for the Inquisitor's Edition after the delay was announced, he said no reason to worry, the system was automatically updated and everything is supposed to work normal, just a bit later as per the delay.

There is no such addendum for the Inquisitor's Edition (following: IE) that I can see where I've looked and I want to know if said yet unannounced boni for the DDE will be exclusive to the DDE, or if the IE will also come with all that and the marketing/retailer descriptions are simply unclear.

You already have your answer. IE comes with the DDE so it should be self-explanatory. Don't worry you'll get your stuffs, i've booked the IE aswell. CAN'T WAIT!
