I hope the Steelbook is a "TRUE" Steelbook case and not the weird, flimsy knock off "Star Metal Paks" cases that was used for Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition.

While both SW:tOR and ME3 had that flimsy metal case, it seems the Inquisitor's Edition won't follow suit.

I already preordered my Inquisitor Edition on the Gamestop website because when I went to gamestop the guy said it wasn't in the system and I had months to wait. THEN I had it was being sold out in certain areas and was like "Forget that! I'm not taking any chances!" And preordered it on website. Hope I get it on release date.

Yep, same thing happened to me. I went to my local GS the day the Inquisitor's edition was announced but it wasn't showing up either and was told to 'wait a couple of days". Yeah, right.  I called GS customer service the same day and was told that the IE was only obtainable as an online order.

 

That's probably the most frustrating thing about it - they all work for GaneStop but they don't have the same information.

I ordered my Inquisitor's edition the moment it went live on Gamestop, terrified I'd miss out. Problem is, I ordered for PC and not Xbox in my haste. So I guess I will see if I can take the actual game in and swap it for the Xbox game and keep the goodies. I'm not sure if that will work but I am not canceling my order lol.

Only places I've seen the IE is on auction sites like Ebay selling for $400 or more but Gamestop in the US all sold out the same day it released.

I'd say it's a definite possibility that it will be at least 8lbs.  I have the Wolfenstein Panzerhund Edition.  The case for that is very similar to this one and that had a shipping weight of close to 10lbs.  I think 9.2lbs to be exact.  The case alone comes in at almost 7lbs.

Red Hart - a mature stag mount.
Bog Unicorn - an undead horse with a sword stuck in its skull.
Armored Mount - a horse mount equipped with its own set of Inquisition armor.
Flames of the Inquisition Weapons Arsenal DLC, a multi-class weapon pack including:
-A staff for mages.
-Daggers and a bow for rogues.
-A shield, a greatsword and a war hammer for
warriors.
Flames of the Inquisition Armor - an armor set for the Inquisitor.
Skyhold Throne - a throne made of dragon bone is made available for the Inquisitor and placed in the Inquisition's headquarters at Skyhold.

Its still availble on PS4, Xbox one one I gave you guys is the pc version.

I also tried to get a copy here..however i was always checking in my shop I usually buy my games.

As I finally got to know about this edition exclusively available at Gamestop it was allready sold out there in Switzerland.

I'm sorry to say but Gamestop is also one of the worst shops for gamers EA could choose to make an exclusive deal with.

 

I tried to preorder games on there website but the preorder button is just greyed out for all games. I wrote e-mails to support and they answered but didn't really help me at all. So even if Dragon Age would be available I'm not sure if I could preorder it as their support is just not helping to solve the problem or find the solution. If you consider this and read there slogan "Power to the Players" I'm not sure what to think about that..

 

If anyone from Bioware and or EA is reading this..please, please, please don't do any exclusive deals with Gamestop anymore. They might pay a nice amount of money..but your customers which buy your games in the end are the one which are suffering and get alot of frustration with such actions. I still buy thiss game as I really like your games alot. But other people might stop buying your games if you keep on like this as it's really not customer and especially loyal fans friendly.

 

Also please make more of this Inquisitor Editions available for people all over the world. You have many true fans like me which are willing to buy such an expensive Edition. It's really not fair that some places just get 4 copies for maybe 100 or 1000 of interested people and other places even get none available at all. If there are really no more available at the moment I'm sure there is still a way to produce more ones to make your fans happy. I'm sure your fans will appreciate it. Also it would show that you actually care for your fans not unlike other publishers which for example don't seem to care if their customers after they bought their game can play the game properly or not.

 

Many people are talking bad about EA. But I thought that atleast the Support and listen to the fans was a plus. Please don't let me need to change my mind. This is an opportunity to show that you are taking your customers and fans serious and not just ignore them (even without communication) unlike others do. 

 

I really would like to have this Edition and as we can read here in the forums many other people do the same.

I would be sad if you ignore us and won't give us any chance to get this nice physical version with all the nice stuff of your new game.

 

Please listen to us and make more Editions available all over the world (including Switzerland ;-)).

Yeah, living in Brazil i cannot get the Inquisitor's Edition because of Gamestop, but maybe with a miracle any games store in here maybe have bought a copy.
 

It's kind of lame, for me, after buying all the games, the books, the comics and even the special Prima Guida for Inquisition, to not have a copy of the Inquisitor's Edition :/

 

Don't do this anymore Bioware, and if you can try to send some copies to Brazil, i'm sure there a lot of players here that want a copy.

Gamestop in Germany has Inquisitor Editions in stock again. Although you can only pre-order the console versions if you want to do it online. If you want a PC version you should go to the store. On the website it says that those are not available but when I pre-ordered mine I had to do it in person. So there might be a chance that they also have PC versions even though they are not listed on their website.

So I've thought about this time and again and decided to cancel my preorder of the Inquisitor's Edition and settle for the trusty Deluxe Edition. Long story short, I'm not happy with the fact that it's a GameStop exclusive; if it was on Amazon, I'd be fine with it (especially since I have a Prime membership). But I don't think the purchase is really justifiable for me under these circumstances.

Likely sold out entirely, but it was available. For under a week (I got the last version of my console preference in the city, according to the staff [which led to my rushing off from one EB Games to the next] and that was about three days after it's announcement, if even).
