It's basically an extra £100 (or whatever your currency is, but it seems to be impossible to pre-order still within America) for a bunch of extras. If you're getting the Deluxe version then it's an extra £80 or so. Look at the physical goods and decide if you want them or not. If you just want the in-game bonus stuff, then the Deluxe Version is £15-20 more. If you don't want any of it, save yourself the cash and get the standard edition. ![]()
Thanks im sticking to the standard version and just keeping £5.00 for XBL credit this time around.
Don't know if this is the right place to ask, but is there a PC deluxe edition for PC? (For both previous games there was, but I can't seem to find it at any of my usual retailers here in the Netherlands). I mean a physical one offcourse ![]()
Thank you in advance

I'm afraid that I don't think there's a physical copy of the Deluxe Edition for PC available in Europe. I seem to recall this being brought up a while back.
Correct: there is no physical deluxe edition available in Europe.
Fingers and toes crossed... I have preordered the regular version when it became clear that we were SOL, with no access to a Gamestop. I did however ask a friend to try and preorder the CE in France and got a colleague to preorder the Deluxe Edition in the US (of course, the CE was already sold out there)... so with some luck I will actually get an upgrade!
Quick question for those in the know...I am getting the deluxe edition of DAI and, since I love reading the guides for fun, I am buying the vanilla strategy guide. I do, however, want all the available DLC for the game and I just noted that the collector's edition of the DAI guide says it contains "3 digital in game items". I'd rather save the $15 dollar difference between the two guides and I am guessing that the "3 digital in game items" are probably the same DLC that comes with the deluxe edition....still, I am curious - has anyone heard anything? Does the collector's edition of the DAI strategy guide come with any unique DLC??
Thanks!

That's really awful I must say, really shot in the face for me (and other loyal PC fans who like exclusive stuff). I wonder if it's to push the digital sales and cut costs in europe at the same time.
I'd really like a physical copy of the game, to put on my shelf and even if the casing is just the same, It would be nice to just receive the DLC. Cause i it's probably exclusive like blood dragon armor dlc, and not obtainable in another way (Except for modding perhaps). So now I have to either receive the special content, or have the physical copy.. it's just weird.
I find it really weird that the console versions DO get one, thats perhaps even odder. One would assume that the PC Dragon Age community, which I am guessing is larger, would be at the very least, equally accomodated.
So a big dilemma for me, the luxury of having something physical and add to my collection or exclusive content that most likely will not be released in another way ![]()

Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what dlc comes with it yet,
but I would assume it would have something different?
It would be a let down to a lot of people who bought the deluxe
edition and the collectors guide to find out that their dlc ended up
being the same. I could see a few people actually being ticked off.
Yeah, it's a little annoying, actually. The deluxe game edition comes with:
The collector's edition of the strategy guide comes with the following (the unique features of the collector's edition guide are in bold):
The employee at Gamestop didn't inspire much confidence - she said that guides come with unique DLC, but had no clue what it might be. Frankly, if the collector's guide comes with the halla, the bog unicorn and the throne, then that is pretty weak sauce, given that (as you said) you already get in the deluxe game edition anyway. I wish bioware would give some feedback on this. I suppose the hard cover is (kinda) worth the extra $15 bucks....
The guide will likely come with a selection of MP loot chests, to be honest. I generally assume 'unannounced DLC items' to be MP loot. I guess maybe a weapons thematic if we're lucky.
I'm kind of confused the people who actually bought the Collectors Edition actually by the game for themselves as I've seen on a lot of different auction sites DA:I CE's for all systems supported selling from $350 to $1200.
I think this whole Gamestop only business was nothing but a cash grab buy up all the CE's then turn around and sell them at a higher price to see who would be a sucker to drop the money.
Why did Bioware/EA have to make the deal with Gamestop exclusively.
Sigh!!
The habit of some people buying multiple CEs to sell back at extortionate prices is sadly something that happens. It even happened for DA2 despite that being an automatic upgrade if pre-ordered before a certain date, because not everyone did.
I pre ordered it at 2 places at once, if one does not get it the other one will
(I hope)
Does anyone know if you get the european Inquisitors Edition for pc, do you get the items from the deluxe edition or do you have to buy those separately?

You should receive only the pre-order bonus (the Flames of the Inquisition weapons pack) and none of the other deluxe edition stuff.
I'm still trying to find out if/when that stuff can be bought as separate DLC at/after launch, because I'm in the same boat.
I have a question about the EB Games exclusive Inquisitor's Edition. On their webpage it says:
The Inquisitor's Edition includes:
What's with the "...and more bonus digital content - to be announced!" bit. The game is almost out and nothing has been said about this apparent bonus content I'm supposed to be getting. If anyone has any information regarding this, I would appreciate it.

I pre-ordered an Inquisitor Edition in Germany for PC and I asked the clerk to be on the safe side. This edition contains all the extra stuff from the Deluxe Edition, not just the pre-order bonus, so everything that MilleniumEarl listed two posts above mine is in it.

Hmmm.... I remain a little sceptical of a clerk's opinion, but thanks for the info!

When looking at gamestop.co.uk the deluxe content is listed on the PS4 version but not on the PC one, and when checking with Gamestop here in Sweden they said the same thing that the UK website has listed unfortunately.
I just hope there was an error and bioware will try modifying that in order the inquisitor edition will be available everywhere for all medium.
Actually, it's been confirmed that the bonus digital content is multiplayer gear.
Really? Thanks for correcting me. I'm not that interested in multiplayer, so maybe that's why the information escaped me. EB Games should really update their list if the bonus content has already been announced.

I've given up that hope by now... I can't even get the deluxe edition here in the Netherlands
do the DLC do anything or are they simply aestetic?
