... For those wanting to breath a sigh of relief like I did ...

 

As such sage advice was offered, it was beneficial to contact Gamestop Customer Service from their website, since I ordered mine directly online so as not to deal with the unfortunate in-store F' ups! ( Cool thing is about the wesite, you have both the call option or the live chat option during certain hours.) 1) They confirmed that there were no "issues" with the order (such as the dreaded nonsense of "oh the number of orders submitted was way beyond available inventory so at the last minute, we are downgrading you to the Deluxe Edition" type nonsense) or with the inventory and 2) Confirmed that payment is generally processed 2 business days prior to release date (So with a few exceptions, most of us here in the United States "should" start seeing the payments being processed as early as SAT. 11/15. if not already seen it processed!)

 

I certainly admit I was getting just a bit too worried about the possibility of some stupid cancelation email stating that the available stock of the Inquisitors Edition could not meet order demand (especially when I placed my order 5 months in advance!), but it appears as of now, it was all just nervous excitement!

 

Now it is just ridiculous that the Inquisitors Edition Prima Guide has been delayed one week to the 11/25 for absolutely no valid reason! But, I guess that gives me a  week to just go bat-shitzu fun crazy with the game!

I thought I'd put in an FYI from EB Games for anyone looking here that may be in Australia as well.
The Inquisitor's Edition loot -- the box and contents -- is now listed on their website as a Preorder Bonus.
 
I and a bunch of other people enquired and the moderator of the page cleared up some things that mean the IE will be slightly different particuarly for online orders: [X] [X] [X] (I'd link to my comment but I was also asking about a midnight launch which contains my postcode)

What I gather from this is that they had to physically pack contents into the editions when they arrived, but they arrived late or something to that effect, so for some (or all) the boxes will come separately but at the same time, so it'll be like Deluxe Edition + box of loot rather than the game and everything else being packed in together.

Just a heads-up that GameStop has started authorizing credit cards/gift cards to prepare for next week's shipping of the Inquisitor's Edition. Checked the website for my card earlier this evening and saw the pending charge from GameStop/EBGames.

Who else can't help hoping that somebody at Gamestop will jump the gun and send out our copies sooner than Monday so that we get them early?

I talked with a Gamestop employee online and was told that my order is currently on backorder.  What is strange is that my order does not say backordered, but that is what the employee told me.  

 

I ordered my CE last month when the XboxOne versions came available for a second time.  After doing some research, apparently Gamestop's computers read orders as "backordered" when they are being prepared for shipment.  The employee assured me that my order would arrive on time, even though it says backordered.  Has anyone else encountered this before when ordering from Gamestop?  Kind of dumb that we can't count on them doing their job.

Dat PC Inquisitor's Edition resale price :0. I actually completely forgot I pre-ordered this so the 200 dollar charge was quite a surprise. Got the IE for PC and DE for PS3, too excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just curious, but how many of you who pre-ordered are keeping it? If you are, will you open it to play or do you plan to keep it sealed to preserve the collectible quality? Personally, it never even crossed my mind to try to sell it for an inflated price to someone who wants to collect it, since hey, I want to add it to my own collection; but I have to admit that the closer we get to the start date, the more seriously I'm starting to think about getting another copy of the game that I'll use for installing and playing.

I preordered the Inquisitor's Edition, I'm keeping it, and I'm opening it up and playing it. While it's true that some board game collectibles are now quite valuable, the odds of maintaining *anything* in good shape in my house are vanishingly small. Besides, what's the point in having all that loot if you don't play with it?

Absolutely this. Can't wait to see the Tarot deck up close and in its glory (can't imagine why).

It's a Gamestop exclusive. I suspect it's available in European countries that have a Gamestop. That said, I suspect it's completely sold out at this point, since the game is out next week.

Saw the pending charge appear on my card as well just a couple days ago, and on Gamestop's website, there is no longer an option for me to cancel my order. I'm so excited!!!!!!!

Ah, that is the reason.

I can only get it when I go for the ps4 bundle now. But buying a game-console that I don't even need for a box and some cards? No way, haha. (actually I really want to, but I have to be a responsible dog owner and buy them food and stuff)

I've been waiting for a decent PS4 bundle and I wasn't going to get the DA:I Inquisition one because it is over €100 more expensive than a normal PS4 bundle and I'm already getting DA:I on my PC.

 

But today I broke, Sony haven't really be doing any bundles that interested me and it doesn't look like they will be in the near future, so I bought Gamestops Inquisition Bundle. 

 

Now I can play Inquisition as soon as I want on launch day AND get lots of shiny things whenever my Gamestop Order shows up.

Gamestop is now offering the Dragon Age: Inquisition Inquistor's Complete Edition.  It comes with the original Inquistor's Edition and the Collector's Edition Guidebook.

Does anybody know if we can upgrade the normal retail version to a deluxe one? This is mainly concernes European PC gamers since the boxed Deluxe Edition is not available in all countries. I *think* BioWare wanted to look into the possibility of an upgrade but I don't know if there were any news.

I just got confirmation from a book store that the DA art book and limited edition guide were shipped today. I checked my Gamestop order for the DAIE and it still says "Open." I wonder if that is because the day is still early OR perhaps since I paid for one day shipping it will do so on Monday. Hmmm.

I already did that a few months ago and they couldn't help me back then. But it can't hurt to contact them again.

Well I'm mad at Gamestop just got a message saying they canceled my Deluxe order that I've had on order since April do to being out of copy's and the money was redeposited into my checking account after they took it out. Been waiting for them to answer their phone for 1 hour 48 mins since they are experiencing a Higher than normal call volume. <Grrrr>

 

They down graded my Collectors Edition to Deluxe in May now I don't get any copy's.

Oddly enough, I just ordered two Inquisitor's Edition from the website/Gamestop (USA), and my friend got her hands on 1 as well? I quickly called to see if this was some sort of error/them listing what they didn't have, but nope, Someone called 'Carlos' said they have actually already charged my credit card and are processing both my orders. I called GameStop Customer service, and not a store, by the way.

 

I hope this doesn't go badly...

It should be either the 20th for Europe or the 21st for the UK, I believe - regardless of buying it online, it still isn't officially released in those regions until then, so ordering it on Origin won't let you play it any sooner.
