Pretty much, EA is usually the company that publishes their games.

There are two sides of this. On one hand you have EA for making exclusivity deals that shaft some fans. On the other hand BioWare employees are communicating to fans 99% of the time, so it's their faul if messages are late/unclear/messed up.

I know, I keep calling and calling GameStop in my Town in Sweden and they just don't know.
"Call again after the weekend"
"Call on tuesday."
"Try Friday"

*sigh*

But the girl I've talked to said, and I quote:  "I wouldn't worry. EA wants to make money. If they sell out they will make more. If they tell us we can sell 5 CE and we get preorders for 15 CE, they will make 15. Cause they want to make money. And this is a lot of money for them."

Yeah..sounds true enough. But I am still so very frustrated.

Meh, tbh I would only want half the things in there & compared to some other collectors editions I own or wanted the price in $AUD is way too expensive for me for only a few things. It'd be different if I was drooling over it but I'm happy with my deluxe edition pre-order. :)

Been wondering, the secret compartment, is there something in there, or is it just a secret compartment?

Check out https://www.facebook...28671970572839/ if you wanna show Bioware how many they disappoint by making the Collector´s Edition unavailable in Europe.

Has there been any updates on the European version of the Collectors' Edition PC?

I went to a GameStop here in the US and tried to preorder the Inquisitor's Edition.  They couldn't do it.  They called up another store.  They couldn't do it either and neither of them understood why.  Finally I went to the gamestop website, selected the Inquisitor Edition, and saw "not available for in-store pickup".

Sigh.

A lot of people seem to have trouble preordering this in-store. I recommend you just do it all online if possible. You can select One-Day Shipping for an extra $15.

I found out about this on the morning of the 28th.

Does anyone know if I missed my chance to pre-order this in Canada?

The EB site doesn't have any availible for pre-order but as far as I can tell it never did. Is the site messed up or did it's pre-orders really fill up that fast?

Any info from anyone, even if it is just wild speculation, would be appreciated.

This is entirely fair.  Right now I'm weighing how badly I want to spend the extra hundred dollars for the goodies as opposed to being able to run out to Game Stop and grabbing the game the morning of the release day.  I will have to commune with my Lunar SSS Ghaleon boxing puppet, Modern Warfare 2 nightvision goggles, Black Ops remote control spy car, and Mass Effect 3... uh... art booklet for a while before I decide.  Considering I'll also be buying an Xbox One that week, I may want to hold back a little for the sake of the wallet.  Then again... fake lockpicks!  Really, I eat this stuff up.  I love the extras.

That said, I'd like to point out that the store owner/manager was not happy.  If nothing else, it makes them look better if they can arrange expensive preorders from their store.  I also like to support the local retailers even if GameStop barely qualifies as one.

I have tried to upgrade my preorder to this twice since the 28th. One store here told me they were all sold out. The other store told me that is has not been added to their system yet and can't be preordered until it is.

For me, it's the waiting for the PC Collectors edition tofinally be put up on the uk website that is braking me. I think my brain has shattered.

June 4th, still no news on the Inquisitor's PC edition for Europe.

The more I think about it, the less sense it makes There are two possibilities. They either genuinely forgot (find that hard to believe, it's not like forgetting to dot your i's), or they decided not to give Europe a PC Inquisitor's Edition because they didn't think they could sell enough to make money.

Then there's the apology. Is it because they really forgot or because the amount of complaints made them realise that it's bad for their rep and/or they can make money off it after all. Or maybe it's just stalling, the good old "we're working on it", and then not saying anything about it anymore until they can communicate that it's too late and they can't provide a PC Inquisitor's so close to the release date.

I love BioWare's games and I like their style but...How does it make sense to not provide a product for people who want to buy it?

I'm seriously looking every day for an update regarding the PC collector's edition for Europe... Come on Bioware, I want to throw money at you, badly! I'm really excited for the game and those goodies have my name on them in big, shiny letters... Please? Pretty please?

I cannot believe that Europe would be 'not worth it'. Unless there are some strange legislation issues at stake over here regarding the contents of the box? For example: the customs authorities read 'picklock' and immediatly freak out thinking it's a burglar package? *scratches head* Import duties should not be an issue for these 'toy' goods...

...Can someone please keep the mouse away from the big fancy box? I mean come on seriously what are you people thinking? With a box like that you can bet it will soon show up in designer shoes and a feather on its head claiming it is the Dragonborn. ; )

Nooot exactly what I was hoping for at all...too many little trinkets. :/

I was hoping for a figure/statue or something that I could display.

Are there going to be any other editions of this game released with different things?  I don't want to pre-order one and then find another one released later.

Derprat, carrying fancy boots (cat sized) and a huge pimp musketeer hat with feather: "No one expects the skaven inquisition! Muhahaha... Now give me the cheese!"

No, we wouldn't want that, do we...? Better give us the collectors edition... *shifty eyes*

I'll post what I was told at my local Gamestop. For reasons the employees have not been told, the Inquisitor's Edition is ONLY available through the online store. My local store went ahead and pre-ordered it for me over their computer, but I had to pay for it up front and it was the same thing as if I'd pre-ordered it myself from home. Meaning, it is never going to the store shelves, and only shipping directly to customers. Having seen the size of the box from the Collector's Edition of Titanfall, I wonder if they are worried about space and logistics.

The thing that irritated me the most? Unless you pay an extra $15 for one-day shipping, the game will arrive 3-5 days AFTER release date. And even if you pay the extra $15, it may not arrive until the 8th (meaning they won't ship it until the 7th). If we weren't already pre-ordering a second regular copy for the DH, I would be royally pissed that I wouldn't be getting my game until the day after release, particularly because I'll be pre-planning and taking the 7th off work, etc. WTH kind of planning is that? The only people willing to shell out $170+ for the Inquisitor Edition are the die hard fans who will want their game as early as possible on release day.

I am not blaming anyone in particular, because I don't know who, but someone, somewhere who is obviously not themselves a gamer (probably some accountant or shipping specialist or something) royally screwed up the logistics of this edition's distribution, whether it is someone at EA, Gamestop, or both.

On a lighter note, when I walked in, the gal who manages the store saw me and said "You're here for the Inquisitor's Edition, aren't you? I KNEW you would get one!" It's like they know me. ;)
