It should be either the 20th for Europe or the 21st for the UK, I believe - regardless of buying it online, it still isn't officially released in those regions until then, so ordering it on Origin won't let you play it any sooner.

Anyone know if you ordered the IE from gamestop is there any way to pre-download or do we have to wait the extra time to get the physical disc in our hands?

     The answer to your question is: The only source that had an "early access"  option was Xbox One (through and exclusive deal with EA games and such.) This option was only a brief ,6 hours of gameplay "demo" type of access. All other sources (PC, PS, etc.) have to wait until their regional specific release date. A preorder from Origins (digital version) will not release access to the game any sooner either.

 

Now does that mean glitches or "exceptions" suddenly occur? Possibly, but for the rest of us in general, well the release date is just in sight!

You have to wait until you have the physical disc in your hands.  You will need the CD Key which is in the box to register your copy of the game on Origin.

Watching the tracking on my DAIE on and off and its in Kentucky right now. Suppose to be here tomorrow around 11am.

 

So tomorrow I'll wake up with a cup of coffee and a long day of DAI game play. Woot!

Got my confirmation e-mail an hour and a half after I left for work. I should have the game by 3 PM tomorrow!!

 

I may call UPS and tell the CSR there's a free AMC movie pass gift card for him/her as well as for the UPS delivery person if they get it to me first thing in the morning.

No, there was an issue last week with the payment (day before payday is not the day to try and take $200 out of an account) that I called them and took care of.  The payment went through yesterday (Which I didn't even know was possible).  I'm assuming it will ship out tomorrow.  Hopefully.  They reduced my shipping to $4, but it still says one day processing and shipping so who knows.

If you paid for one day shipping it should have shipped today. I got mine from Gamestop, it was shipped early this morning and will arrive early tomorrow morning.

I also no longer have a button to cancel the order or change the address, but it still says that it is open.  I don't know.  Hopefully it gets to me sooner rather then later.  If I don't get anything about it shipping tomorrow I'll contact someone.

Thanks.  I was afraid of that.  You'd think there would be same kind of pre-load as digital copies with such an expensive version.  I was hoping to play as it went live tonight (since that is 9pm my time) but I'll have to wait until whenever UPS decides to get it to me then start installing.

You know, it's been over 12 hours now since I received notification from Gamestop that the game had shipped. At that time, I immediately checked the tracking number with UPS and it said the order was processed and it was ready for UPS, which their description means that they have received the paperwork but not the item itself yet. Well, I just checked my tracking number to check the status and I'm now worried because it still says the exact same thing. It's 3 hours later in Kentucky, meaning almost 9 pm. How the heck is it supposed to get across the country to go with the local UPS truck when it leaves the yard 2 towns (almost an hour away) over at 4am if it hasn't even picked up from a location that is no doubt already closed for the day? Has anyone else checked their tracking number lately? Or is maybe more familiar with how information posting works for overnight deliveries at UPS?

 

On the plus side, I have my new Windforce 970gtx installed and my awesome new speakers just arrived, so I really can't wait to take advantage of both the visual and aural beauty of this game! It's going to look and sound beautiful.

I'm in the same boat (in Ohio here) with a processed but not shipped or charged IE.  On hold with them right now (haha I'm that level of anxious ) so I'll post when I hear something.  Hopefully/maybe just tracking hasn't updated, but I would have thought the money would have at least been withdrawn.

I've never pre-ordered or overnight shipped a game, or worked with Gamestop before, so this is all a bit new and confusing to me.

Likewise, kitcats & Hellaine but I wouldn't worry too much about it. UPS works around the clock so don't be surprised if you get an update that it was received at their shipping center at 11-whatever PM and was shipped out at 1-whatever AM.

Did you see the weight of it? Ten and one-half pounds!  And me on the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator -- I may have to give the UPS delivery person a bottle of water when he or she gets here!
