Thankfully, I had no shipping issues. Mine came in early this morning, around 10AM eastern time, and thankfully wasn't mangled and damaged like a lot of y'all's were. However, I did break two of the pieces trying to get them out of the freaking box. I expected them to be a lot less flimsy. Thankfully the map and the cards are pretty decent quality, which is the only things I really cared about.

I hope everyone else's issues get resolved quickly.

I'm wondering how Gamestop was able to assure me that I'd have another Inquisitor's Edition arrive to me by Morning if they were sold out? I'm super grateful for the service they're providing replacing the box/contents for me so quick and efficiently, but did they just happen to have some as back up? Lol. I don't know how these things work, I'm just going to go play the game now...

I received my Dragon Age: Inquisition collector's ed.  The pieces were strewn about every which way. I was excited for this collector's edition.  I even wrote that it warranted the price. It does not. It is of poor craftsmanship, granted the map and cards are the exception.  The Inquisitor's Badge is broken; the case borders, which were  glued, came apart. I assumed it was the way UPS handled it; however, when I opened the case, I saw that it was the packaging. The manufacturing company could have done a better job in packing the items in this collector's edition.  I am keeping this separate from the game, for it is due to packaging.

Bioware, choose another company to manufacture your collector edition version of your games. I am very displeased.

Oooooh :(

So sad to hear that people have recieved broken editions. I dont get mine till tomorrow (Aus and the store closest to mine isn't doing a midnight launch) so i'm just hoping that I dont have any issues with mine, otherwise I will be livid as I spent a lot more money on this game then I normally would any other game. I never ever buy collectors editions but decided to this time around because I love the series so much.

I'm really hoping i'm not disappointed by mine :/

Hi,

I live in Germany and preordered my Inquisitor Box in the german Gamestop online shop.
Today I received an email from Gamestop that they stoped shipping because the box does not matches their quality standards.

They are seeking for a solution and regret any inconvenience that may cause.

Bad story.

Yeah, I have to agree on this. One of my pieces, the Raven  bust, had broken parts to it, and there is no strap for the top layer which I feel is a big mistake since it's not set correctly in the box. There is also some minor damage in the innards too, the fake red velvet part is cracked, and i'm missing one coin. My box however was totally damaged when I received it so UPS probably gets the blame for me too, but still...$200 bucks is a lot for some broken bits.

The cards, map, even the quill and inkwell are nice, I am kinda miffed that the lockpick tools are hard plastic but I know why they did that, and the book looks great too.

i'm going to contact Triforce on this. If it's only the two pieces it's not a total loss, but i'm a stickler for perfection.

Ugh, I cannot get the link widget to work, but here is my experience with the Inquisitor's Edition:

https://www.facebook...838969026164076

I emailed jgray@ProjectTriforce.com last night, and sent in note via their customer support contact this morning. I don't want to return it, I would just like the broken pieces to be fixed or replaced if possible.

My soundtrack isn't able to be downloaded, either, I put the codes all in where I was supposed to, and they were accepted but... *sigh*

So I'm pretty bummed.

Paid for one day shipping on my Inquisitor Edition for the PC and it's trapped in Pennsylvania because of snow ;_;. I'd be really mad but I picked up a Deluxe Edition at my local Gamestop on PS3 so I could get it at midnight.

For those that emailed Tri-Force directly for repair or replacement of the broken pieces, please keep us all posted on how they respond.  Mine is here in my city, but I won't see if for awhile.  We are trapped under 6 feet of snow.  Hopefully sometime next week.

Like many others here, I too had a similar issue.  The items in my case where in fact scattered like a tornado hit it.  The only item that was broken was the gryphon/eagle?  The outer edge pieces of the box, 2 in fact, have fallen off.  Not sure what happened to the apparently nailed? or simulated image on piece near the latch is totally gone:wacko:

I really love the cloth map! Tarot cards are nice as is the leather journal and game case.  The craftsmanship could've been a LOT better for being valued at $100. (Or at least packaging it better).  I don't think I'll be buying any other collectors editions in the future that involves cheaply made items that break easily.   :(

I'll keep it but a little disappointed.  Anyways, loving the PS4 version of the game though!!!! ^_^

My inquisitor edition came with a whole tray of items missing, including the steel case.

This is absolutely horrid.

GameStop # is busy and never picks up.

I'm sad to hear I'm not the only one missing vital pieces.

To keep things short, I think they need to look into the manufacturers/whoever has access to putting these together, because I have 3 huge pieces missing ( map, steelcase, cards, and little other things like the corkscrew top and a few lockpicks ) that make me suspicious. Its as if someone opened these quickly and forcefully, took what they wanted, and sent it on it's way.

I found one lockpick was actually superglued to the inner bottom wall of the box upon closer inspection.

How the hell does this even happen?...

So mine just came.

Yep, everything had definitely fallen out. And I had to glue the little corners of the case back on; they fell off immediately. I'm missing one lockpick.

There seemed to be a small amount of superglue randomly attached to some of the objects inside but it was no big deal.

I think I'm lucky compared to a lot of you.

I had one broken piece but it isn't too horrible.  I can live with it.  I feel bad that people fared a lot worse.

If you need to check to be sure you have all your cards and are not familiar with the tarot, this is the order of all the Major Arcana cards:  Fool, Magician, High Priestess, Empress, Emperor, Hierophant, Lovers, Chariot, Strength, Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, Devil, Tower, Star, Moon, Sun, Judgement, World.

Is Bioware doing anything to address the quality issue with the Inquisitors Edition? I hit the jack pot with broken and missing items.

They put this out, why would you think they're going to fix it? I can't imagine they didn't see a sample/early version.

For those with broken and/or missing items you should check this: https://twitter.com/...855828101402625

BioWare and TriForce are aware of these issues and someone from TriForce has posted a contact email in that twitter link!

Thanks for the link should go to marquiseondore for posting it in this thread yesterday!

I sent an email to that address last night. No acknowledgement. Your mileage may vary.

Mine arrived yesterda, I've seen it traveled half the world (arrived via EMIRATES passing from the Arab Emirates before getting to Milan to GameStop and then shpped to Rome).

I've briefly checked it at work, and everything seems in place on the first quick view (I had yet to check removing the first layer with the steel case).

The emblem is cheap plastic, two statuettes were off their compartment (and yest they're heavy) and I have a small loose piece which I didn't know where it belonged till I had a better check afterwards during a break at work (I've received it in my office).

Yes there were loose items cause the trip wasn't easy for the box and yes it feels way cheaper than what we've paid for, but for me there wasn't anything broken.

Only one of the Markers, the lion holding the semicircle with the three spikes was in 3 separate pieces, which could be easily assembled.

As it didn't show any scratches of sort, I think it was intentionally left unassembled as I just inserted the stick in the lion's mouth and fixed both sides of the semicircle in it.

2 coins were loose and the lockpicking set looked really REALLY cheap. I expected something in some sort of metal, but we're getting painted plastic, a joke, something like the inquisition emblem, it's really a letdown, cheap plastic.

My major complain goes to the cloth map edges, a bit unrefined.

As for the Journal, it's not a one piece, but essentially it's a small blank notebook with an outer cover of faux leather, which in this chance I like, that makes it reusable, so I could buy blank journals that would fit and use it on a regular basis.

On a second thought I might have not spent all that money, as the intrinsic value of the chest, for me, is far less than 100€

I have just picked my Inquisitor Edition. I asked the clerk to open it for me and check if everything was okay which he did. Most of the pieces were loose but nothing was broken. 2 of the lockpicks were missing though. The clerk took a note and said I would get the two missing items in a few days. Gamestop would call me. Guess I got lucky. I only had a brief look so far so I can't say much about the quality. But one thing that surprised me is that the deluxe content (mounts, throne and so on) is just a code. I still don't understand why they couldn't sell a boxed PC version of the deluxe edition in Europe then. All you had to do is to add a code. Oh, well.

I picked up my edition today here in Austria and nothing was broken and only one piece was not in the appropriate slot, I guess I am one of the lucky in this case.

By the way what is the secret compartment, the place that holds the four gold coins hardly counts.
