Just do what I did,ie use the  EA online support chat,they'll get it sorted within ten mins and add all the deluxe edition content, just don't close the chat menu when it's up and wait for a CS person to chat to you.

Waiting time for me was only five mins.

I'm based in UK too,don't bother with gamestop.co.uk.

How come you got it and I didn't...? :/ Agent only promised to make a case to specialists. Grrrrr. Is it possible to request specific agents to help you out?

Did you check the "Details" section on your Origin account? Once you enter your registration code, the "Flames of the Inquisition" stuff should be there ready for download.

Hope this helps! :)

Yeah, I've checked, there's nothing there other than the basic game.  I've tried getting hold of EA support but the only means of doing so is using their live chat system and nobody answers.

I'm pretty disappointed there hasn't been an official post saying:

We care;

This is what we are going to do about it;

Contact us at X;

It's beyond upsetting right now.

Yeah, Gamestop wise I would be happy if they at least gave me an idea of when to expect the game and why it's been delayed. As it stands, based off what I'm reading, it could be here tomorrow or it could never arrive and it's down to me to somehow get through to their customer service.

All that and all I'm reading is that I have more fun and games to come with EA CSAs or TriForce when/if I ever get the package. o_o

Well I reopened my ticket again and after some explaining and the advisor actually listening, I got all my content as I was meant to. I watched them actively flag it while my origin client was open and it begun downloading. Sadly I think some advisors are either clueless, or just couldn't be bothered, but if you can be patient enough to reopen a ticket and wait for one with common sense, you'll get it sorted. The person I got, was simply called Manoj, as per my transcript, who was quite helpful and understanding.

Just make sure you ask for exactly what is missing, if you got the Inquisitor's Edition you should have the following things in your Addons and bonuses list:

Flames of the Inquisition Weapons

Flames of the Inquisition Armor

Flames of the Inquisition Armored Mount

Dragon Age: Inquisition - Deluxe Content

Dragon Age: Inquisition Official Game Soundtrack

In addition to the code "DAI Inquisitor's Edition Registration Code" you should have from the Steelbook case and of course that "Dragon Age: Inquisition English Voice Over Pack". Also you'll find the Official Game Soundtrack is tied into the Deluxe Content flag, when they flag your account with that, the soundtrack one will automatically add after.

As for the Red Lyrium Reapers Weapons Pack from the promotional webpage, I'm not sure if that flags on the addons and bonuses list or simply appears in game automatically, I would like someone to confirm that. And I'm still awaiting my Collector's Edition Strategy Guide for the Dracolisk Mount, Premier Ring of Insight and Multiplayer Chest, so I can't confirm how it appears either.

So after me writing that I was going to cancel my pre-order, I got an email saying that it had shipped. It arrived last night, with nothing broken. The quality isn't as bad as I feared. The map markers have a decent weight to them, and the map itself is nice. The only disappointing piece was the plastic symbol and the quality of the box inserts holding things in place. I was imagining some silk lined box.

I had the same issue as others in that there was no code for the deluxe version, but after a couple of chats with EA Help and uploading screenshots of my receipt and photos of the box, I got the code applied - so stick with it if you're having problems, and refer them to this thread.

 I got mine on release day, and I was pretty disappointed when I opened it.  Cheap plastic, the Lion figure was chipped, and everything inside the case had fallen out of it's little "alcove" during shipping.

The game copy I got was fine and I got all the additional content that came with it, however, this collector's edition was in no way worth the near $200 dollars I spent for it.  For that amount of money, the company that made this could have done a better job in choosing materials to make this with over the low-grade plastic we ended up with.

Well I've now finished a 3 hour Live Chat, during which I was asked to delete a number of Origin related folders, install and run CC Cleaner, edit my Registry and finally re-install Origin! After that I was essentially told there was nothing else the advisor could do for me! No offer to upgrade my account with the Deluxe Edition, I was told they have no way to verify what digital content is attached to my account and the only way I can found out that is by running the game! I even sent the advisor a link to this thread but he didn't seem to be at all interested. I had to ask a number of times about the broken and missing content in my Inquisitor's Edition, only to be given a link to the EA UK Warranty Policy, after which the advisor ended the Live Chat session! :angry:

EA clearly have ZERO interest in their customers, nor are they interested in resolving problems! Fair enough EA, I've allowed you two chances to correct this fiasco and you've simply given me the run-around! On Monday I will be speaking with UK Trading Standards to see what other options are available! :angry:

Trading Standards will say that it's Gamestop's responsibility to sort it out: unfortunately, they're unlikely to be all that interested in EA.  But on the other hand, Gamestop seem to be doing the right thing, offering a £20 refund to people who want to keep it, a refund for the box but not the game should you wish to continue playing, presumably, (though they didn't specify how much that would be, and there may be wrangling over the postage to and from) or a full refund.

I like the game itself so I'll probably go for one of the latter two options, depending on what they offer for the partial refund.  No point in keeping the box though, as much as I like the cards (and the map's mostly okay too), it's big and expensive for something that's extremely shoddy.  EA are definitely taking the ******, but at least there is a solution of sorts.

This is bullshit if they don't give us our Inquisitor's Edition just because THEY messed up and manufactured them horribly. Someone got back to me asking me for pictures of the damage. Hopefully thats a good sign that they're going to do something.

I have NONE of those in my Add-ons & Bonuses section, all I have there is the "DAI Inquisitor's Edition Registration Code" which has a Status of "Unreleased" and the "Dragon Age: Inquisition English Voice Over Pack". After two long Live Chats resulting in absolutely nothing from EA I'm left with the feeling that EA are being very discriminatory in that they are simply NOT dealing with this issue in the same way for everyone! We can all clearly see the posts here such as yours from people who have received both pre-order and Deluxe Edition upgrades to their accounts, yet others like myself get nothing except wasted time! :angry:

EDIT: Just checked my Origin and now, under the DA:I Add-ons & Bonuses section, the "DAI Inquisitor's Edition Registration Code" has no Status, so I guess it's now classed as Released? Still nothing else showing in that section though! :(

I'd rather take some time to talk with Trading Standards and get their advice instead of allowing EA to get away with this entire fiasco! If no-one does anything to bring EA to task then EA will simply see it as a green light to continue with such shoddy business practises and discriminatory customer service!

EA are taking no real responsibility (nothing new there) and, even worse, they're dealing with players with the exact same issues differently, giving some players both pre-order and Deluxe Edition upgrades to their accounts while giving others absolutely nothing!

If you haven't opened your game copy yet, you could ask GS to refund the game and buy the DD through Origin instead.

Thanks for the suggestion, but seeing as I've already redeemed both codes that's not really an option! It's just really annoying that EA are giving some players both pre-order and Deluxe Edition upgrades and yet I (and others) are being given nothing! :angry:

mate check out what hapnd to me. I am on the phone at work and I was typing with support thru carrier net right? Unfortunately the guy ( it was a second agent I talked to because its wrecking my damn head) wasnt really able to confirm what I got but he said he unlocked some missing stuff for me. From what I understood I only got flames of inquisition packs andi still miss the deluxe bundle. Unfortunately I will be able to check in 6 hours when I am back from work and re open ticket tomorrow evening before I go to work if he didnt give me the stuff. Phone typing was problematic lol

If you want to try again, give them my case id: 15935026 - it should be pretty much the same situation as yours. You should attached your proof of purchase to your case, too.

they charge you the deluxe edition price for the normal one, pretending you're getting deluxe edition. Then they don't offer you refunds after you open the case and not find the codes.

I'm not surprised we're getting different results here really, but it saddens me nonetheless, seeing as EA was apparently boasting to strive to treat it's customers better as of an interview awhile ago now.

The only thing I had to do was provide proof of purchase (receipts), and reopen the ticket a second time to get someone with common sense and brains to do what was right and fully within their powers to do, even if it took a whole hour to get done.

Another thing I have to add also is the DAI Inquisitor's Edition Registration Code addon has changed from Unreleased to Installed for me, as with all the others in my list, so I imagine it'll update when your account has all the entitlements it's meant to have.

As far as I'm concerned, if anyone's providing proof of purchase and has that DAI Inquisitor's Edition Registration Code on their account, then the entitlements will appear on the backend of your account (at least according to the Manoj person I spoke to) and they simply need to hit the buttons on their side to make it appear for you to download and install and no one should be being refused.

Either some of the "advisors" are misinformed or are just too damn lazy to speak to the people who're aware of the issue and get the all clear to press those buttons to make us happy, and give us what we're entitled to.

I know it sounds like beating a dead horse, but sometimes the only way is to keep pushing them until they finally wake up, as frustrating as it can be, so keep at it if you have the patience.

I am trying for the third time now. My approximate waiting time is under 5 minutes for like 15 minutes now, heh. Can I have your case reference numbers, guys who managed to get their stuff? I only got Flames of the Inquisition packs so far from someone not very knowledgable who claimed that that Deluxe edition is not part of the Inquisitor and I should have that stuff with Inquisitor code. >.>

GameStop is no better. They don't reply to people anything else but copy-paste messages but in my case I got this at 23:00 (gmt):

Hi Alec
Unfortunately if you would have to choose from one of the following options on this issue
I can advise that we are in contact with the manufactures and bioware regarding this huge inconvenience

EDIT:

Talked to James. He sorted me out. Live Agents will help you guys, you just need to give them time to be aware of the issue. I strongly recommend getting your deluxe edition stuff and then returning the trashy inquisitor boxes. No, it's not cheating. Gamestop is cheating by falsely advertising and even charging the price of the Deluxe Edition for a regular one.

Just an update, got an email back from jgray@ProjectTriForce about the issues with the IE. He thanked me for sending pics and said they are internally reviewing the matter. :s
