So, what he meant to say was 'PC players in Europe only get the physical goods'. Okay then. That first link also says 'pre-order offerings may vary per retailer and country', which explains why we didn't get the FotI stuff. Never really cared about the gear (only cared about the Red Hart and the music - the rest will just get dumped in whatever in-game bin I can find). Confused about why I got the multiplayer code. Thought that was deluxe edition only.

The multiplayer code inside the SteelBook is for all owners of the Inquisitor's Edition, the soundtrack as well as the Red Hart are exclusive for the Deluxe Edition.

What you can do (and what I might do) is reselling the Standard Edition and buying the Digital Deluxe Edition. In this case, you get all the content you wanted and still get to keep the gear. Or you could fully return the Inquisitor's Edition to GameStop and just buy the Digital Deluxe Edition.

Especially since gamestop is charging the DDE price for the physical normal edition.

So, GameStop shipped me a new copy of the box with all of the collectible items in it and nothing was broken this time =D!  Though things were still all over the place, which sucks, but I'm just grateful it all works.  Now to send back the old box.

I'm not really sure what's the deal with EA not providing GS with the deluxe content for a game costing £130.  It doesn't make a lot of sense and is only going to cause yet more bad feeling for a company that can surely do without even more of it.

Still, when it comes to PR, EA seems curiously adept at shooting itself in the foot with both barrels.  Sad that this should be such an easy problem to resolve, and that goodwill would be so inexpensive to obtain, yet I'd be amazed if they did it.

But to be pedantic, GS advertised the Inquisitor edition as including that content therefore it must be provided, and unfortunately it's Gamestop's problem to sort it out.  That's what was sold, that's what was paid for and that's what must be delivered, and so far nobody's given a good reason why that shouldn't happen.  EA and GS not wanting to talk to each other is not a good reason.

Another update -> After that email saying they were reviewing it internally to see what they could do, I sent a follow-up email thanking him and asking him if there was a time frame for any news on that, and as of yet nothing back.

Anyone else get anything more?

Well, its been another week since they closed my ticket with no contact or reason at all.so I opened another asking why and what was being done about it and told them unless I got some kind of reply from them I would be contacting trading standards about the whole thing.....

.....ive heard absolutely jack from them.only thing I got was the standard."we have received your ticket one of our support team is looking into it"

so,£129 down the drain...very poor response from EA help as well. they just told me to contact gamestop....good luck to anyone who gets any help off either of the companies I for one wont be buying from them again.ive spent 100s if not thousands over the years on EA and Bioware games and dlc..and really think these companies should be more helpful for genuine cases.

EA's always taken the opinion "we have your money now so we don't care lol" when it comes to customer support, I'd be surprised if they suddenly had a change of heart and started treating their "consumers" as actual customers.

Zero commentary / apology (for the choice of the party they allowed to handle it) from Bioware. Sorry, but this is pathetic.

I have yet to hear about my broken inquisitors edition after emailing Josh Grey back on 11-24-14.

So i just DLed IQ and it says i cannot start a new topic. So instead  I am going to reply on other random topics because my complaint is valid. The first big boss fight on the PC version asks me to press the right mouse button...WTF...seriously WTF. it does nothing."You can disrupt fade rifts to damage deoms" (right mouse button) "the rift while controlling your character"

And yea nothing ****** happens. I have tried the fight going on 10 times now. Moving around the map, looking in different directions, not attacking the demon.  Seriously. What kind of bush league bullshit game play are you guys going to now?

What happened to an awesome story line first? If I wanted to solve a crossword before saving the princess I would have bought a USA today then played mario. Stop with the ****** crime scene scenarios to further the storyline.

IQ ? Wrong topic, and you can totally post here provided you have games registered. Did you check you keys binding ? Does your cursor is gold ? Because you need to be pretty close to the rift.

I understand the frustration, but it's not going to solve anything.

I have yet to hear about my broken inquisitors edition after emailing Josh Grey back on 11-24-14.

I got an email from him on the 1st, sent pictures the next day, nothing since. It could be, with his email getting posted, he's had a lot of them and is slowly trying to make his way through...but that's just me being optimistic. For all I know, he could have been told to ignore them until the company works out what they're going to do.

Anyway, here's me with a box with some broken things in, and an unwrapped game, still trying to decide what to do about it. The deluxe stuff isn't even available to purchase on Origin yet, and apparently the PC version is full of issues, so...yeah. Waiting isn't fun.

The game itself is excellent (even though without the stuff that should've come with the CE...) and though there are a few rough edges (a few responsiveness issues with the interface, poor optimisation, especially loading times, and apparently wobbly graphics drivers) I would thoroughly recommend just launching into it and playing it.  Though I've been quite outspoken about the sorry state of the CE and EA's indifference to sorting it out, the game is well worth playing.  Lots of content and lots of fun.

I'm a tad confused since some are reporting that some of the editions didn't get various items or goodies in Europe, I'm in the UK and I've apparently got the DE content and Flames of the Inquisiton gear downloaded in my game files?

Sadly, I seem to have the same issue that some of us with PC are facing, where I've yet to see any of the goodies I shelled out for appear in-game, despite having them downloaded and registered, with that damnable special deliveries box in Haven and Skyhold remaining unclickable...

Could we perhaps see a fix for this in the next patch?

The DLC items appear throughout the game.  Mounts as a war table mission, the throne once you get to Skyhold....in your quarters in haven, your quarters in Skyhold and in the Undercroft in a chest marked "special delivery". Those will be added in different intervals during the game.  The soundtrack in program files>Origin Games>Dragon Age Inquisition> Bonus

That's my point, none of that stuff is showing up, despite it being in the game files! That special deliveries box remains unclickable, none of those war table missions for mounts appear and I still have the bog-standard throne when I get to Skyhold? And I don't have the soundtrack at all, now you mention it, there's absolutely no bonus folder anywhere to be found?

I think the soundtrack needs to be downloaded separately through Origin, assuming you were lucky enough to get a code for it...

Oh hey, been a month and no word about the FUBAR'd Inquisitor's edition and the broken stuff being fixed at all... It's almost as if they only sent back a reply to shut us up for a moment and then promptly forgot about actually doing anything. > :(

Maybe it was only ever a gesture to placate people and they never intended to follow it up.  Maybe they'll come through sooner or later (or rather, later or much later) but I'm afraid I seem to have a bit of an optimism failure in these circumstances.

Likewise, I never got the extra content I paid for: Gamestop says it's EA's responsibility, or more specifically, my responsibility to bother EA about it, and EA don't care to sort it out.  GS also said "we didn't get the exclusive", if that's supposed to be some sort of explanation: I don't care whether or not they got the exclusive, just gimme what I bought, dammit.

I had a reply from Triforce today when I asked for an update:

Hey Marquise,

We are working around the clock with factories to create replacement items. We don’t have an exact timeframe pertaining to the replacements at this moment. When an accurate shipping timeframe and more information becomes available, I will contact you directly for shipping information. You won’t need to pay for anything additional, and you won’t need to ship any damaged items to us.

Again, if you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out :-)

Waiting on you guys to fix all the huge ugly broken mechanics on your game before I think about spending money on "special editions," and or additional content.

Right now you guys are so freakin slow in fixing Day 1 character breaking issues and still havn't addressed the new dlc key dropping bug. (day 1 non-dlc key dropping bug sitll not fixed btw)

Your hitboxes are a joke and skills have trouble landing just because they can't reach the hitbox designed for them.  Nothing like facing your enemy point blank and continuously missing pommel strike and Twin Fangs to face-palm in disgust.

Fix your huge game breaking issues before you start throwing goodies at us please.  Or else you just look like a bunch of F2P Korean money grabbing mmo'n douche bags.  You know, the ones that have lottery pay 2 win.  Ya, you guys look that disgusting right now.

You're way late my friend. The Inquisitor's Edition was announced back in May and sold out within hours of being announced.  So even if they resolve these so called game breaking bugs that you mention, good luck finding one at retail price.  These things are going for around $300-400 via third party sellers on EBay.

well, my final thoughts on this whole shabby rip off by BOTH EA and GAMESTOP over the inquisitors edition not coming with what was advertised is... im not buying anything else from EA OR GAMESTOP AGAIN !!. both blame each other so they have got a very convienient  way of getting out of it.i paid £129 plus extra postage for half a product and both companies could not care less when I contacted them about it...it took gamestop nearly 3 weeks to get back to me.with the usual "please contact ea ABOUT THIS"...AND WHEN I CONTACTED EA THE GUY ON THE PHONE JUST SAID ITS GAMESTOPS PROBLEM...REALLY POOR SERVICE..AND I WILL BE RAISING THIS TO THE TRADING STANDARDS HERE IN THE UK...

anyone want to buy an inquisitors chest with everything in it but the game codes?..ive quit altogether im that disgusted with it all

happy new year guys and good luck !!
