If you buy it in Scandinavia it's in English.
I think you might be able to choose Swedish, Danish or Norweigan as subtitles and such - but I never do that
Default is English here

As for the confusion... so are we all. Most of us Europeans have not even been able to pre-order the IE, so you should be very glad that you had the opportunity.

Apparently pre-orders for the IE were accepted in a few of the European countries (and not in most of the others). Whether or not this means that the IE will actually be available in those few countries... nobody knows for certain, at this point.

so it means Poland is screwed with PC Deluxe and IE versions... great... just great...

only normal version with little DLC (flame weapons) for PC is avaliable as pre-order which i ordered already...

Yeah, welcome to the club. But seeing the low number of replies in this thread atm, it appears that everyone else is now just taking this for granted and has probably ordered the standard edition or the digital deluxe edition instead (very good... you make EA happy!)

yeah... Communication here is really bad :/ But to be honest what other possibilities we have? I wanted a box with a game to my collection and standard 

edition is my only choice. Same goes to others... i wanna play game asap but it do not means i am happy how customers outside are treated...

EA made a preety bad decision to choose Gamestop...

I want to play this game too, but the way we are treated, it doesn't look like I will. I am not willing to sacrifice my principles over this, and just give in to what EA is trying to force down my throat. That's your choice, your decision and i respect that Even when it gonna be a possibility to upgrade it later via bioware points i will not do it. I will only buy future DLC's.

We do not have Gamestop here too so i feel your pain, the closer one i think is in Germany if i remember correctly...

Well, as of right now, the PC version of the IE is not available from Gamestop in Germany either... and besides, if you buy it there, there's a high probability that you get the manual, artbook etc in the german language...

I sympathize with those fans in diverse locations that are unable to purchase the Inquisitor's Edition. Hopefully an accommodation will be made for everyone who wants to buy this product at some point - and sooner, rather than later?

 

I ordered this item the very minute that it became available, then scheduled myself off for October 7, 2014, and informed my adult daughters (that still live with me) to make plans to be elsewhere on that day. All that remains is to plan for what comfort food to stock for that day, and simply deal with a few more months of tension headaches waiting for the dragon to drop!

In The Netherlands the PC Deluxe is only available trough Origin and the console versions are available boxed. This is EA's marketing strategy they do not want us to buy games trough Origin because that way they get all the profit and believe the game will not be pirated. I am personally still hoping they will release the Inquisitor's Edition(IE) in non Gamestop countries.

 

Someone suggested to boycot Inquisition if they do not release the IE in non Gamestop countries. I am still considering the pro's and con's, I am quite certain my 5 year old will not be able to play the game so no reason to buy it beside the IE. Someone else said that a boycot could lead to Inquisition being the last dragon age and he wanted to support Bioware. I am not sure what i will decide but I personally feel screwed by EA's marketing strategy.

I had ordered my DA:I CE from Gamestop and was informed last week from a Gamestop Manager that they would be unable to full fill my order as their store was only granted 6 copy's and by the time the store had opened as I was waiting outside the day they were available and reserved my copy, they had apparently already sold all of the copy's.

So the $5 I put down to reserve it was changed to a deluxe edition!

An as a curiosity I checked Ebay and a few other auction sites and guess what DA:I CE's from gamestop being auctioned for $500 and higher, gotta love greed weighs out the need to sell to your customers in the store.

Needless to say I officially hate GameStop!

should have put down my spare 80 bucks I had..for the Inquisitors edition when I had the chance =p..  Now I am just waiting for one of my paychecks side money save up..for the normal edition and ps4...  =p unless i get lucky who knows..but i guess I will pass on it.. sadly =p Unless they talk about some more coming out during July or August.  hmm. I never did check if the three gs near me.. if they still have them... maybe ill just order it after the 3rd paycheck =p or 4th later next month.

Checked out the Ebay UK site and found the DA:I Inquisitor's Edition for PC and Xbox 360 available from an "International" seller for £221.37 + £55.34 postage as the "Buy It Now" price!

 

Obviously EA, BioWare and GameStop won't care about this, they all get their money for the initial sale and they have zero interest in how this might affect the actual gamers who really want to be able to purchase a copy without getting ripped off by these Ebay scalpers!

I am living in France, where there is no gamestop. However, there is a micromania, affiliated (as a partner, if I'm not wrong) to Gamestop. I have mailed them several times to inquire about this collector edition's availability, but they never answered me, since it is more up to gamestop to tell if they're going to let Micromania handle the French public. But is someone aware of the situation, and if not, could something be done with that? I want this collector, I can pay a little bit more to import it, but not this inflated price. Could someone from Bioware tell me if this edition will be released on the French market, please? Thanks in advance!

Tghost9, so far we have not had any indications that Micromania will have he Inquisitor's Edition, so I wouldn't get my hopes up. Most likely, you're just as much out of luck as everyone else of us who lives in a country without a Gamestop...

Until we get a clear answer? So far, the only answers we've had are on Mark Darrah's twitter account, and they're all along the lines of "hold on, we're working on it"... which hasn't changed all that much since the announcement of the IE went up (a month and a half ago). So I wouldn't expect a clear reply anytime soon.

One of the biggest reasons that I quit buying Collector Ed.

 

I got Tins for ME 2 & 3, Signature ed of DA 2, and Collectors from Morrowind and Oblivion.

 

Took 1 look at the collectors' ed of Skyrim, said H**L no!

 

And with Inquisition, it's never again!

And in France we don't even have the "Flame weapons" if we preorder the normal edition through amazon.fr (or fnac.com)

I don't want the IE version, too big and too expensive, but at least, we could have the physical deluxe edition...

But their pre-order gonna be cheaper, they have only normal version but they can upgrade it later

Wait we can buy the standard edition in Aus and upgrade to the deluxe version later? That I did not know so I'll have to check with my local EB Games. I am really sorry for all you guys and girls going through so much trouble and uncertainty in Europe right now. I really hope this gets resolved for everyone soon and regardless of country we all get to buy the version of the game for the platform we want.
