I feel bored, it's the less original build in the game. I'd rather play with a full team of Volus with shurikens. It's almost as bad as AIU/incendiary Reegar.

People complain about Juggy's but the worthless TGI/Harrier users are the even bigger blight in multiplayer. Seems as every person who gets both of them decides they are gold and platinum ready and that usually is not the case. I hate that character and usually just leave.

Well I can say the guy is in a killing mood, alright. I know that would be my reason. But I'm with you on this. Very OP kit that makes OP weapon more OP is too much. At least for Gold. I not very familiar with the world of Plat. (And ammo issue ain't much of an issue as the GI with a Harrier should be able to hold their ground on top of an ammo box, lol)

 

I actually love the SMG on the Geth Sol, which would work better on the GI, I guess? As it feels I finally found a really good home for it since it has that windup and I don't know why so many use this SMG on power spammers, lol. But yeah, on the Geth Sol I toss on HS + HVB + Flame Ammo (since it works best on high fire rate weapons) or replace the HVB with another Heat Sink + Armour piecing ammo, and shoot forever, lol. Love shooting Atluses with both these setups.

 

 

Though using an OP weapon like the Talon on the GI I wouldn't mind as much as it does need some accuracy boost, sadly, and I guess?

That means less to me than if they don't equip an ammo bonus, assuming its a platinum match. At least try, is what I think when they equip nothing, and then I'll look for a different lobby.

For some reason people equate TGI/KroLord/AIU with "autowin". Pity it so rarely holds true. A poor player is going to play poorly, regardless of the kit they use.

the other day there was a noobish juggernaut, and it was U/U/P, we got the reapers in hazard glacier, he was holding aggro the whole time while i proceed to kill evvery thing without the possibility of getting sync. He was a glorified meat shield, in which really helped the team not get any flukey sync kills. Yeah, he scored like 40k points at the end of the match, but that dude was a really good meat shield

 

same thing with the TGI+harrier user i played(ranked low, low challenge points, etc), he kinda sucked but he wasn't dying a lot(relative to other kits with his rank and play style). THus he wasn't a nuisance when it comes to reviving a downed player. Then again, he was the host and there wasn't a delay on his stim packs. He held his own(sure he still scored last, but relative to people who score last, i didn't have to babysit him as much)

 

these are just a few examples, there are plenty more where the tier of the kit played an important role (regardless if that person's skill)

I would rather pick up someone using a non-infiltrator, especially one that has self healing properties, than some scrub who dumps aggro on everyone else and is only good at standing in one spot spamming noob packs and Harrier.

The last one I played with was on Gold. He camped ON (literally never moved, even for objectives.. if a Banshee got too close he nuked it) the back ammo box on Giant. Naturally, he had the BotB banner.
