Allan, honestly I would ignore some of the posters on here, response only gives their comments credibility.

In terms of living in reality, they hunger in the fade instead.

Alpha is very good news indeed.

How much should we have?

 

How much did our other games have?  How much do other studios games have?  By what basis are you drawing from your concern that this may not be enough time?  Just a hunch?

Hi again, lets talk about my hunch...

 

4-5 months is a very, very long time in game development.  But when I see a post like this, I don't see questions, I see judgment:

 

 

 

 

 

 

This coming after someone had tweeted Cameron who said this is pretty normal.  You did not give the impression of asking "Is this enough time?"  You gave the impression "This is alarming because it's not enough time" as well as "This timetable is different than that of other games."  So that's why I was asking you how much time we needed, because it seemed like you knew how much time we should have, because your first post made it pretty clear that you didn't feel it was enough time.  I mean, you literally ask if there's a new timetable for alpha/beta, which tells me that you know what the timetable should be, and that our current one is wrong.

 

Hence why I was asking questions.  No, you didn't make yourself clear... you weren't asking questions, you were making declarations.

 

 

In the future, if you are looking for the answer for a question, be quick and concise:  "Will you have enough time for Alpha and Beta?  This seems really late to me" instead of going on about how we're using a new timetable for alpha and beta that you're not aware of.  When you say that, you're telling me that you are aware of some other timetable.  I was curious what that was.

I would like to "impose" my question again - do you have...errr... did Bioware had enough time? Considering all the replies to my 1st post, where I was almost stomped to the ground by making... a judgement as you put it, let me ask: why the delay? And please dont give me that PR bs about an extra time to make things shine for us players to make it an awesome game (which, in truth, is partially true I belive). The backlog says to me BW was short on time it seems, so they had to move the release back (forward?), to November.

lol I'm as upset as the next guy but is this really an adult way to react to the situation? "I told you so", besides I feel as this is an outdated thread and not, and there is a more relevant thread for your questioning you should probably bring it over to the other thread
