Since my team didn't make the playoffs, I'm stuck rooting for some players and showing unfounded dislike for others. It'll be cool to see the trailer during the game, though.

Yeah, well I live in Norway anyway, so I don't have a clue about american football. Still, it'd be cool to watch at least one game while trying to figure out the rules. 

I hope the Vikings win though, I've heard there are many norwegian-americans in Minnesota. And that name just rocks.

Its pretty simple, just cheer everytime the vikings score and you will be fine, lol. We got another vikings fan folks

Where I live in SE MN The vast majority is Norwegian-American.

Never got into Football until the last few years, I was always a Basketball guy, then the real basketball players retired and we got these clowns that just dunk and can't hit a jump shot to save their lives. So now, Football is my sport of choice.

The Vikings will dominate the saints, just as they did the cowboys... Hopefully none of the Saints players will cry about it though during a press conference like the cowboys did.

I like college basketball (Memphis tigers anyone), not much of a fan for the NBA. But football is my favorite sport. If the Cowboys didnt want the score ran up then they should have played a little Defense. I hope the Vikings do win because I really wanna see Favre in the super bowl.

Excellent news, Chris.  I'm excited (like everyone else) by the prospect of a wider audience seeing the launch trailer.  Amazing stuff that deserves to be seen widely.  The only thing better than the NFL playoffs?  ME2 combined with 'em.

Howdy football and Mass Effect 2 fans. This Sunday January 24th at 4:40 PM , myself and other members of the BioWare office will be watching the NFC Championship game between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints from one of our favorite watering holes. This is one of two match ups to see who will go on to play in the Superboel!

"What? Why shoud I care about American football, Evil Chris" I hear you say. Well let me tell you.

One - It is going to be an amazing football game.

Two - Our awesome ME2 launch trailer is confirmed to be in Break 25, better known as the “2 minute warning break.”  Where over 35 million viewers will see the trailer. Also, just as the 2nd half of the game begins, the announcer will recap the 1st half as “brought to you by Mass Effect 2” with the attached image on screen.

Three - to keep you all entertained as we cheer on the teams, we are going to be Live streaming the event and hosting a fan chat on BioWares Ustream Channel http://www.ustream.tv/bioware

During the game me and the rest of the folks will be chattign online about the game, Mass Effect 2, Life at BioWare and more. We're also going to be randomly giving away ME2 swag every 15 minutes to the fans like t-shirts, posters, comic books and more.

So if you want to chat about Mass Effect 2, football or just watch me and a bunch of BioWarians drink beer and eat chicken wings, NOW is your opportunity.

Are you ready for some Mass Effect 2 sponsored football?

I apologize in advance for the lack of intelligence represented by the following uestion, but, what will the time be for this proverbial Shindig PST? I'm afraid I will be away from a Television, but my Laptop has excellent WiFi reception, so the Ustream will pose little to no problem. However...the time has me a bit confused since most Time stamps for these BW events are from a Canadian perspective. Again, sorry for the thickheaded nature of this.

I'm more of a gear-head, but I planned on watching this game for my son who is in Basic Training. He's a Farve fan, so I reckon I gotta root of the "Purple People Eaters". As far as the commercial goes, I'm just glad to see a video game going this mainstream. Score one for us geeks!

I was planning on watching anyway since I wanted to know who the Colts were going to beat in the superbowl so this will be nice to see.

All I have to say to the Vikes fans is "Gary Anderson 1998" And if you dont know what that means, Im a Falcon fan. I happen to believe in Vikes/Jets tho. The Favre underplot would be so great for that game
