I don't know if this has been asked already but in the available sneak-peek walk throughs it's mentioned that we can have different keeps depending on they style of gameplay:  Mercantile, Military, Alchemy or Espionage.  

 

If, in one's gameplay, one chooses Military in one place are we locked into that style every time we take a new keep or does anyone know if we can set up, say, mercantile in one region, alchemy in another and/or military in another?

 

The answer seems logical to me, I mean one can't have a successful military without someone supplying some sort of intel... but I could be wrong.

I think we get to customize each keep to fit our whims at the time.  Just wouldn't make sense otherwise.  And, it seems we can get more then one keep in regions...at least certain regions.

I don't think anyone has asked this actually. 

 

I always thought there was only one keep per map so you stick with what you chose.

Yeah, I also think that each keep will be customizable individually. It makes sense, so you can unlock different kinds of content on each playthrough and be able to mix-and-match. To lock yourself into such a big decision at the beginning and have it confine you throughout the game would be bad IMO.

i agree with what you have said but i hadn`t thought about more than one keep in a region . Hmmmm that is a good idea .

If it is that we can customize each keep differently and, sometimes, more than one keep where possible that would be awesome.  You're right.  It's not really logical any other way but y'never know, right?  :D

Indeed.  I just look at what they said about exploration in the game and establishing the Inquisition in an area and it just does not make sense to have just one keep in most areas.  And then the big thing now to wonder is the 'camps' that we have heard mentioned.

Well I mean in more terms of millitary/ Espionage/ etc. :P  While it would be nice I doubt we will get to customize the artwork too much.  On the other hand though if they do do a quest like 'find silverrite to upgrade Griffon Wing Keep' then the walls should reflect that change when you get it.  If you do things for quests and what not they should be shown visually for the sake of immersion.

From all videos and interview about game. I am sure we have 3 types of keep, military, spy, merchant. And they have different style, and can be customized to some extent, maybe different coloring(DA:I different dye for only 1.99 oh Maker no.) And we have camps more then one, so I guess we have one keep per map and several camps.

You will need variety to upgrade different things research and such. Alchemy will be necessary to open up some poisonous areas before exploring.

This isnt secret info as a gameplay video is on YouTube about it. Resources are required and limited from what I understood as well in that video.
