Well given that we're only going to get 3 male romance options, I think IB's chances are... well, less than some other's, at least. That doesn't rule him out, but Cullen's already taken up 1 slot, so that leaves 2 more. So he has DHMG (dorian), bearded warden, and solas to deal with. Maybe blonde dagger rogue guy, but everyone's saying it's Cole and (since Cole has the mind of a child) that would rule him out.
I'm pretty sure Dorian's going to be romanceable simply because of his sexy mustache. So that leaves 1 more, and it's probably going to be solas--there's usually an elf romance, and in DA2 there were two.
I could be wrong though, as it's all speculation. I, for one, would be very interested in seeing how his romance would play out, and how the particular scene would work, too, what with those giant horns

I really only see him available to qunari. Aside from the limited number of male romances, there are various.... things that I could see bw straight up avoiding. Or it could be that I'm focusing on these issues and nobody else is...

I don't really care. Tbh i see him more as a good buddy to the inquisitor, i.e Varric in DA2.
Then again i'm a straight male and have no interest in him romantically. I'm sure alot of people feel differently.

Personally, I would love it if he was LI. However, Like someone else said...I can really only see him being a Qunari romance. I think that The Bearded Warden and Iron Bull would be the non-romances...possibly Varric as well.

I'm not sure that he will be, if only because the height mechanics might be difficult to implement, especially with a dwarven inquisitor. I certainly wouldn't have a problem with him being a romance option though, I'll be happy with whichever options we get.

I surely wouldn't mind it considering we get to play a Qunari in Inquisition, but I don't think it will be so. Most BioWare LIs are human (especially female), and from the looks of it we are far more likely to get DHMG/Dorian, Solas if we're lucky, as an option in the male department. Even if you get to play as a Qunari/Dwarf, the options are going to be mostly human with maybe 1 elf to satisfy the non-human requirement.
I'd be very surprised if Iron Bull or even the likes of Varric and Solas become options.

Not that every character NEEDS to be an LI, but it would be cool to have more diverse options considering we are allowed to play dwarven, qunari and elven PCs in Inquisition. I can't imagine every PC fancies a human...

Personally I don't know what's up with Qunari romances in general. We need more information on that before I really open up discussions. I am of the opinion that Qunari players shouldn't even have the same romance option as other races. They're just way too big.
I can buy Iron Bull being an option for a female Qunari player. Perhaps even for male as well if they go that option. But Iron Bull + female Dwarf, just straight no. That type of relationship has no place in Dragon Age, if they go that route, make the dog an option as well.

Being in a relationship doesn't equal having sex though. You know how asexuals are not into sex but have healthy relationships with their partners? I could imagine an inquisitor!dwarf having an asexual relationship with a qunari (wow I find this actually damn cute if I think about it for too long oh god).
Having Iron Bull as a LI would be like christmas for me and if he'd be available for males too, I'd do a backflip while playing 'Flight of the Bumblebee' on the violin.
My wishes never come true though and I doubt he's going to be a LI, let alone be available for both genders :C
I don't know , but if there are really only going to be three male LI, they won't take the only big hulk-like humanoid with big horns. It would seem kind of strange.
I mean I'd dig for some Iron Bull, but man, that doesn't seem too plausible (for me).

That's pretty sick, dude. A dog is an animal. A qunari man and dwarven woman are people.... consenting adults who wish to engage in a romantic relationship.
Real life dwarves / little people marry / hook up with "normal"-sized people all the time. Somehow they manage. I'm sure neither partner would prefer an animal to their loving partner... regardless of size or shape.

I don't think that Iron Bull will be a romance option, but I will say this; I would rather he not be a romance option all together as opposed to to making him an option only for qunari.
I think that sends a terrible message in regards to interracial relationships in the real world.

I doubt he'll be an LI. Either he'll be too caught up in the past(!) or it'll be a Wrex situation where he's too much man for the PC to handle.

If he ends up being romance-able, I'd love for him and my female Qunari mage to share some happiness together in a world where they are outcasts :')

Yes you're right real life Dwarves have relationships with normal sized humans, they don't on the other hand have relationships with 8 feet tall half bulls, which was my point. I have no problems with Dwarves having relationships with humans or elves, though my personal preference is Dagna(who I've heard is in the game)

You know, I have an uncle who disowned his daughters because they both decided to marry black men and he didn't particularly care for the idea of having "half monkey" grandchildren.
So, within the realm of fantasy and science fiction, when I see relationships between humans and sentient, sapient, humanoid creatures who share our capacity for thought and emotion being compared to bestiality, well, it's not something I see as being particularly valid.

He's either going to be unromanceable or restricted to Qunari Inqusitors. I will have a Qunari reserved for him if it turns out to be true.
Odds are he won't be available to dwarves or elves...or even humans.

It won't be because of the racist issue. They simply won't do it because of what it takes to make cinematics. And this is Bioware...
If it does not look good to them...it won't be in the game. Its just the way it is.

Considering the romance animations for DAO, and the Isabela/FemHawke scene in DA2(love that romance, but femhawke looks like she should topple over while carrying her).
Besides, presumably they're already animating scenes with whatever human/elven romance options are in the game with the qunari inquisitor. Would it really take that much effort to do the same for Iron Bull?
Hell, there are a dozen ways to shoot the scene where the size of the participants doesn't really matter.

I think Varric will be a romance options. So they will need a bro type dude to take Varric's place. Who could that be??? The Iron Bull.
If Varric is romanceable...he will likely be restricted to Dwarf inquisitors. Theres also a possibility he won't be romanceable.

Is it weird I have this feeling that Iron Bull is going to be a homosexual(male) romance option?
Aside from being an interesting subversion of what some would call "Stereotype gay", the culture of the Qunari, Which he isn't part of anymore, but if he grew up in the Qun, surely some traces of the culture exist in his psychology seems to condition one away from the biased perceptions of beauty/attractiveness based on the "Conservative" notion of sexuality as originated from biological necessity. (Females attractive to males because mating 'n' such)
