What???? I consider it a bad game if I pull less than 250k on fixed faction/map games.
I'm lucky if I pull 10K in a game, 10 assists is a major challenge for me.

I didn't want to bring it up, but me and the guys have decided to stop carrying you.

I figured it was time to call myself out, it really is pathetic. Back to silver I should go, I suppose?

Bronze. Babby steps Hoochie. Babby steps.
Well to put it simply, the Harrier you want to set up for top/maximum damage setup. This is the only way to truly solve it's ammo issues, thus make it the cheese weapon it's supposed to be. While with the Lancer, you can go either way. Top of the line consumables & setup or not. Everything works, and on everybody too. While running a sub par setup for the Harrier will make you do a double look at the gun and say "Huh? Did I somehow turn the full auto off or something?"
lol that's not true. harrier's a weapon you skimp on the consumables with. even with full consumables the lancer felt incredibly slow to kill with. admittedly i never tried it with stability.
IMO, the Typhoon is made for people with 0 aim for headshots. Same for the Spitfire.
i get headshots with the spitfire...

Pretty much why I asked what he meant by "cheesing" with the Harrier. I still have no idea what this thread's about...

its about people being butthurt about other people disliking their guns.

It won't kill mooks as fast as the Harrier.
For a Platinum Possessed Praetorian, it depends on the character, incendiary ammo or not, and the location of the nearest ammo box.

that's what nades are for
Oh, we got ourselves yet another OHMYGODSOL337 n00b.
Gladiatorum... **** off. I just wish you'll be gone from here as fast as the others.

But my TGI and GI don't have grenades!

TGI can go jetpack off a cliff. GI gets snipers. Solution.
Nope! XD
Man, I am sorry I missed those. I saw you come online, but I was being (almost) stomped by Collectors on Reactor at the time, so didn't check messages. i was using the Revenant on the Tsent because of this thread.

Oh, well I see then, since I just love then giant target head sign Collector faction so much. ... Though you were playing the boring Reactor level so you still could of left. ![]()
It isn't physically impossible, it depends on what mouse sensitivity you run and how likely you are to introduce left or right error.
If you really can't be bothered and want to take a long range shot, just go into cover.
I only made one attempt with it yesterday and it started a little slow. CSMG will be easier to use.
But if your reaction & adjustment time is longer than 0.1 seconds, your accuracy is already taking a hit because of recoil.
If recoil only steadily raised your aim, then you could negate that with downward motion. But as it also seems to randomly shift it in other directions, you can only ever manage it, not really negate.
Thanks for the explanation. It didn't even cross my mind how aim assist might affect or be affected by recoil/stability. Interesting stuff!
It's a separate feature. It's like your computer turning down the sensitivity on your mouse and then raising it back up without you wanting to.
Here's my test on PC and it felt a lot easier to stay on target.(Take in mind, I'm a PC scrub.)
Lancer has a little recoil yaw, but so does CSMG.
All the recoil that matters is up and down. Anything left or right that matters is introduced by the user.
Here is my crappy first and only attempt. The first thing I did when I started the game yesterday, so was sort of crappy until 1:30.

I've got another video coming for you soon.
Well, with "is affected by" I guess I meant "interacts with". I get what you mean. I think. ![]()

I though recoil yaw is multiplied by total recoil, but I might be wrong.
I'd love to see that kind of recoil control demonstrated. It'd earn a like, a big applause and a handful of kind words from me. ![]()
So far no PC video I've seen has suggested that Lancer can be nearly as accurate in practise as CSMG can - without stability helpers, that is.
It doesn't matter all that much because it does a lot more damage to health than the CSMG. *shrug*

Sure, against health, shields and barriers I guess it kind of evens out. But there are other factors why I usually prefer CSMG, like that sweet no-delay ammo regen.
That said, I don't use it all that much. It's a bit too good for my tastes, SMGs in general shouldn't be that powerful. Perhaps I should use Lancer more for that reason alone.
I pick between the two mainly by which has the greater supply of amps. ![]()
As far as health, shields, and barriers, that's the bulk of mooks though. The only mooks with armor are the Dragoon and Pyro. They will be easier to hit with the CSMG, but Dragoons advance so fast it isn't that big a deal, and Pyros don't even necessarily need to be taken out at range. Anyway the burst armor DPS difference is something like 10%.

I'm not sure if my math is right but on the Tsent with max AP weapon damage (no gear bonus, everything else max) CSMG = 1946 dps and Lancer = 2005 dps.
I guess that would depend on whether or not the CSMG armor bonus is from the base damage or not.
