It's their unbreakable disciplinary doctrine, I can totally understand why they're considered "stuffy", but then again they do live with the certainty that many individuals spend their entire lives searching for, rather unsuccessfully.

Regardless, I'm glad our Qunari Inquisitor wasn't/isn't part of the Qun. I'm really looking forward to giving some real personality/individuality to them :)

Yeah.  I am too.  It should be fun, may even dress her in like really bright colors, hot pink or light sky blue.  Or pure white...

Anyways I am not sure with my mage I am going to end up romancing anyone if I am basing him off of Obi Wan in part.  I will leave my romancing to the ladies. ;)  And then I might swap out Viv for the Warden in my preffered play through considering from her description I might really end up NOT liking her at all.  I mean I think with Viv I will either love her or hate her.  And if I hate her, there is Warden.

Are you speaking character or romance wise? Or both, hah.

I mean we can speculate romances but truth be told it's all hogwash, our companion's romance values could be so much different than what we're looking for. And I never romance someone just for the sake of experiencing all the romances (in all my multiple playthroughs of DA:O and DA:2 I never romanced Zevran, Anders, or Fenris).

I think I'll personally like Vivenne a lot. She is powerful, but knows her limitations. A very admirable quality. She also advocates for peace and believes there is a compromise between Mages and Templars,  that this war is unnecessary. Again, something I agree wholeheartedly. There's no doubt she's a wise and powerful mage, after all she was to be appointed to become First Enchanter before being recruited to the Inquisition! You don't get more prominent mage figures than that (except The Warden and Hawke, of course). As long as she's not stuck up and too annoying about her love for fashion, me and her are gonna be great friends (and perhaps more :))

I meant both.

And yeah she could turn out just great and we could step off into the sunset...or not.  I am a bit hesistant is all because she sounds very...abrasive...she honestly sounds like the kind of character one of my Inquisitors could get along great and clear and one not so much.  And yes, she sounds like she is out for peace and justice and is good and all, but her personality, sounds iffy, how she goes about what she does.  Ultimatly we will see in October...or whenever we will get the game. :P

First play through: Female Qunari two-handed warrior. I'm not sure about a spec she'll have yet maybe champion. She's going to have a personality type that is more stern, serious, shy, and reserved. She'll still crack jokes and have fun with those that she's close to when she thinks it's appropriate. While she doesn't want to join the Qun she understands why so many find it appealing. Companions I'll probably use with her:
Warriors: Cassandra/ Iron Bull
Rogues: Varric/ Cole/ Sera
Mage: Viv/ Solas
LI hopefully Iron Bull if he's not an LI for a Qunari inquisitor I'm not sure who she'll pick. Maybe Solas or Cullen, but I'm really hoping for Iron Bull for her.

Second play through: Female Elf duel-wield rogue assassin . She's going to be very sarcastic. She loves joking around with her friends and has a hard time taking things seriously. The one thing she does take seriously is freedom for her people. She strongly believes the elves should be free, and that they have to fight for it. Companions she'll use
Warrior: Iron Bull/ Grey Warden
Rogue: Sera/ Varric
Mage: Solas/ DHMG
LI I'm not sure who she would be interested in. Maybe Cullen, Solas, or Sera. I would have to see who fits with her best in game.

Third Play through: Female Human mage Knight Enchanter. She's going to believe the circle is necessary, but that some things need to change. They should find a middle ground where they have more freedom, but not so much that the Templars can't do their job. She's going to be fun loving and have a great sense of humor. She can be serious when she has to be, but prefers to have fun even in dark times. Companions she'll use
Warrior: Iron Bull and Cassandra/ Grey Warden
Rogue: Cole/ Varric
I probably won't use another mage to often but when I do it'll be Solas/ DHMG
LI Cullen

Fourth play through Male Elf Rift Mage. He's going to be slightly more serious, very self assured, but also sarcastic. He's going to be very interested in the fade tears and how they happened. He believes is freedom for both the elves and the mages. He doesn't think Templars are needed to keep mages in check mages can keep themselves in check. Companions he'll use
Warriors: Grey Warden and Iron Bull/ Cassandra
Rogue: Cole/ Sera
I won't use another mage too often, but it'll be Solas/ DHMG
LI probably Sera or DHMG.

I love these types of topics!

A lot of great ideas in here guys.

Rogue:

1) First/Main Inquisitor: Female Qunari.

Specialization: Tempest. Looks like the Archery spec to me. Love the idea of a Heavy Archer. Want to experiment with Archery in DAI. It was tough in DAO and fun in DA2. Though DAO was such a better game....

Personality: Really my first character is usually my wife. At least my male interpretation. My Lady is really big into rules, so, I am thinking she will make a great personality for a QUN following Qunari. Plus, she is a natural snoop and detective. Can't hide anything from her. Fear runs rampant in Thedas when my Inquisitor is on the hunt. Also, better not spill jelly on any counter anywhere.

Appearance: Short, for a Qunari. Can they have long blond curly hair?

Voice Dialect: American accent, with a bit of a New Jersey Lilt. (Do they have lilt in New Jersey?)

Ideal Companions: I don't really know yet. I am not sold on any companions until I actually get to meet them. Thinking Cassandra, Iron Bull and a

Mage: Second Play Through

Specialization: Knight Enchanter or Rift both sound really fun. Who knows.

Personality: Will likely be a power hungry type. Likely into the Inquistion, will want to save Thedas, but transform it so that the Inquisition aka my character is the head guy when it is all said and done. So, disrupting other political groups will probably be something this character does. Really want to try out the agent aspect of the game. Will want to build a spy network.

Appearance: Tall. Dark Haired. Bearded. Likely tattoos on body if that is an option. Never was a fan of the face tattoos.

Voice Dialect: Whatever.

Ideal Companions: Elf Archer Chick. Cassandra, Grey Warden.

Romance: Lots of them.

At this point, I am likely to experiment with the Multi Player function of the game. If it is anything like ME3 MP, which I really enjoyed, I will play it for quite some time.

Play through 3 will be what I almost always default too in Fantasy RPGs. Two Handed Weapon Wielding Barbarian. I am sure to take the Reaver spec again as well!

My character concepts constantly change as new information is doled out, but currently, here are mine (no specific order). Note these are all hypothetical playthroughs, chances are only half of them will actually be played and only a small fraction will turn out exactly as I'm describing them here. :-p

01. Male Elf Mage- Rift Mage

Will be in my Amell Mage/Mage Hawke import. I can imagine Rift Mage being something of the Dalish (like Knight Enchanter sounds very human/Circle based). Appearance wise he'll mostly wear robes. If they can be dyed, I can see them being a burgundy or deep crimson color. He will be a redhead with blue eyes. Spells will generally be fire focused.

Personality- Stoic, diplomatic, pro-elven (but not to the point of being polarized or siding with who clearly is a villain), uninterested in human affairs unless they benefit the elves or times are really desperate.

Alignment- Neutral Good/Lawful Neutral

Romance (if possible)- Solas (most likely to be Dalish)

02. Male or Female Human Mage- Knight Enchanter

Will likely be in my Dwarf Commoner/Templar Hawke Run. Will generally be very pro-Circle, sees the need for Templars and military might, diplomatic but not afraid to force his/her hand on those who would commit abominable acts. Will use his/her spells to augment his/her physical attacks, otherwise he/she will be healing/defense oriented (paladin-type). Looks wise I haven't determined his/her appearance, likely red hair with green eyes (male) or blond with blue eyes (female).

Personality- Serious, lawful, conservative, mostly pro-human (distrusts qunari and the Dalish)

Alignment- Lawful Neutral, could potentially slip into Lawful Good or Lawful Evil depending on how his story plays out

Romance (if possible)- Scribbles or Vivienne (if male), Dorian/DHMG (if female)

03. Female Dwarf Rogue- Artificer

Don't know what import she will be in. She will generally be very progressive and liberal, and I'm assuming Cadash will be a surface dwarf, so she really won't be pro-Orzammar and definitely against the caste system when she sees it. She likes to find creative solutions to problems, ideally the solutions that bring the most gold to her pockets. No looks have been decided upon (will see the character creator first). Will dual wield daggers like a ninja dwarf.

Personality- Charming, trickster, funny, silly

Alignment- Chaotic Good

Romance (if possible)- Varric (she will not be without him in the party)

04. Female or Male Human Warrior- Templar

Will be in my FemCousland Queen/Fem Warrior Hawke Import. She/he will be very conservative and unflinching as strongarm of the Chantry. She/he will be extremely pro-Chantry, pro-Templar, and anti-magic. She/he believes what she/he does is for the greater good even if she ruffles many feathers along the way. Looks wise, Quizzie will be a blonde haired, sapphire eyed beauty (female or male). Wields a sword and shield, archetypal paladin.

Personality- Conservative, tough, icy, unwavering

Alignment- Lawful Good/Lawful Neutral

Romance- Cullen or Cassandra

05. Male Human or Elven Rogue- Assassin

Will be in my Dalish/Rogue Hawke import. A master archer who is heavily focused on being stylish (awesome hat and all) and very for stealth, subterfuge, and a crafty choice of words. Wouldn't call him good or evil, just someone who is not opposed to gutting someone in the ribs as he is helping someone in need. Looks wise, if he's an elf he will have black hair and blue eyes, if he's human he will be Rivaini in appearance (dark skin, black hair, hazel or amber eyes).

Personality- Smart, flamboyant, manipulative, seductive

Alignment- Chaotic Neutral

Romance (if possible)- Sera (if elf), Scribbles/Vivienne/Sera (if human)

06. Female Qunari Warrior- Champion

Don't know the import. She will wield a two handed sword and be strong as an oxwoman. Despite being a Vashoth, she is still very duty and honor bound. She has a strong sense of leadership, loyal and kind to those who serve her and severely ruthless to those who would go against her. Has a heavy bias towards mages and a strong dislike of superficialty and indirect passive-aggressiveness (Orlais). She will have golden skin and short white hair.

Personality- Strong, direct, brutal (if pushed), loyal

Alignment- Lawful Neutral/Good

Romance- Cullen (I ship FemQunari Quizzie and Cullen because he needs a strong woman in his life)

07. Male Dwarf or Qunari Warrior- Reaver

The type that's 'in it for the gold'. Very self-serving and quick to put down anyone who challenges him. Will wield a two handed sword, wear the most intimidating armor, and run into battle headfirst as a vanguard type (high risk, high reward). Has no time for the small stuff and couldn't be bothered with the Qun/Orzammar or trivialities. Extremely mercenary. If he's a dwarf, he will have black hair and brown or green eyes, if he's a Qunari, idk typical Qunari appearing.

Personality- Unemotional, brash, temperamental, violent

Alignment- True/Chaotic Neutral, potentially Neutral Evil

Romance- None (no Fem Qunari/Dwarf = No Romance, they're not down with the human)

08. Male Qunari Mage, Female Elf Mage, or Male/Female Human Mage- Necromancer

The complete embodiment of chaos, destruction, and overall forbidden. A male Qunari will resent being a Sarebaas and the ill treatment by his kin (even if he didn't experience it as a Vashoth) as well as the distrust of others. A female Elf will be massively pro-Dalish/anti-human and revel in her power (think Velanna + Justice). A male/female Human will be power hungry and pro-Mage simply because they are anarchistic and anti-establishment.

Personality- Chaotic, crazy, power hungry

Alignment- Chaotic Neutral/Evil

Romance- Iron Bull/DHMG (Male Qunari), Iron Bull/Solas (Female Elf), Sera/DHMG/Iron Bull (Male or Female Human)

09. Rogue-Tempest

Open to interpretation and whoever race/gender/class I like the best and whatever I didn't experience in Inquisition.

*note- subject to change. Very likely to change. Do not take this post at its word on October 7 and beyond. :-p

First Inquisitor: Male, Elf

Class: Mage

Specialization: Necromancer

Personality: Selfish, aggressive, dislikes humans, cares somewhat about other elves and mages and will usually side with them. I guess seeing as we are dalish I might make him a bit prejudice against city elves.  He isn't going to do evil things for the hell of it, their has to be a benefit to him, he wouldn't do something like siding with humans over elves for money or power.

Compainions: I have no idea that really depends on the gameplay and which characters  he would most likely get along with but I can imagine he might like Sera, DHMG, IB more than the others.

Romances: Who knows but he will probably be gay

Second Inquisitor: Female Human

Class: Warrior, Two handed greatsword.

Specialization: Templar

Personality: Kind, compassionate, noble but slightly hungry for political power. She is quite religious and Chantry supporting and generally Templar supporting too but she doesn't hate mages and will not stand for abuses against them. She is rather intolerant to blood magic and can be ruthless sometimes, she would never deal with demons.

Compainions: Same as the last in that idk but maybe Viv, Varric and Cass seeing as they seem like they would suit her best.

Romances: Probably Cullen but idk.

Third Inquisitor: Female, Qunari

Class: Mage

Specialization: Knight Enchanter

Personality: All I really have so far is pragmatic and middleing but on the harsh side, obviously mage supporting to some extent but maybe not as far as the rebellion goes.

Compainions: dunno

Romances: dunno, maybe non

Fourth Inquisitor: Dwarf, haven't decided if male or female yet

Class: Rogue, daggers.

Specialization: Artificer

Personality: Sarcastic, as for values I dunno yet.

Compainions: dunno.

Romances: dunno

Possibly my characters will change and there will probably be more but the first two are pretty decided. I usually try everything after that and Finnish the playthroughs I like better.

Here goes the TLDR version of mine: Male Elf Mage (Dalish?)

He is an andrastian elf, so he believes in the chantry and think the dalish are foolish and stubborn to keep believing in dead and useless gods, instead of embracing Andraste and the Maker who saved their people, so basically he wants to improve the lot of the andrastian elves. As a mage he wants the circle system restored or something similar, he thinks magic should be controled and would like to become first enchanter of one of the circles.

Romance: Sera, if she turns out to be a compatible character, otherwise none.

Wow you guys are organised  I've only really thought about my first inquisitor. The rest will get decided after my first playthrough (although a grumpy female Dalish elf rouge and flirtatious human or dwarf male rouge/warrior will most likely happen).

First Inquisitor: Qunari Mage (female)

Specialization: Knight Enchanter

Personality: Blunt, impatient and a little sarcastic (as all characters I play are  ) but will still strive to do what she feels is best for everyone, even if she has to bang some heads together to get there.

Companions: One mage, one rogue and one warrior. Probably who interests me most, more than who is most useful in my first go (at the moment that would be DHMG, the warden and Cole).

Romance: No idea yet. Not interested in Cullen or Cassandra so I shall have to wait and see who else there is.

Love this list dude. I hope you find time to do them all and enjoy 'em thoroughly.

Inquisitor's Version 2.0.  May update before game comes out/ later as I get through the initial play throughs.

Name: Obiane, Benjamin (Ben)

Race:  Human

Class:  Mage

Weapon:  Ice or Lightning/ both

Specialization: Knight Enchanter

Physicality: Light Brown Hair kept moderate length, blue eyes, bushy beard.

Personality:  Serious at times though also at times he is humorous, tends to deflect tense/ tough situations with humor but is serious when he wants to be.  Cares about people genuinely but is unsure how close he should get because of his position and his status as a mage.  Is pretty Pro Chantry and Pro Circle but often bucks against those institutions and finds it difficult to always follow the rules.

Background: A Mage from Nevarra who was called in by Knight Commander Greigor to form a special branch of ‘Templars’ who are mages to help them hunt down apostates and abominations.  This would be a dry run for integrating mages within Theodosian society and establishing themselves as good people who can be trusted.

Feelings about Being Inquisitor: Deflects the situation with humor, as with most things, me, Inquisitor? Nah.  But does use it occasionally to manipulate things for his advantage and to get his way when it comes to being the Inquisitor.  But, privately, he doubts he is the Maker’s Chosen.

The Inquisition: Mix of Economics/ Espionage.  The Inquisition will be the truth seekers, trying to find the truth, not conquer the world, the few military forces it will have will be well funded, and well supplied.  Believes in a single well funded and small army rather then a grand and sprawling one.  Well trained, well equipped, etc.  Big enough to deal with the threat, but little else.

Story Arc: It will be his job to lead the Inquisition, as such he goes from being Pro Chantry and pro Circle to growing increasingly skeptical in both organizaitons, the same goes for all of Theodosian Governments.  He still supports them, but becomes increasingly convinced they need serious reform.

Feelings about Dragons: Unlike most of his countrymen he is fascinated by the beats and is generally pleased they have returned to Thedas in his life time, even wanting to maybe domesticate them and use them for the Inquisition’s purposes.  Failing that, he will leave them along, as long as they leave him alone.  But if they attack him or the Inquisition he will not hesitate to put them down.

Relationship with Companions: In the field professional and serious, in taverns or at the main base, laid back and jokes around them.  Even when he is professional its not in the hard core sense of the word as he still likes to joke around from time to time.

‘A’ Team: All about Order and Chantry, Cassandra/ Grey Warden, Varric, Viviene/ Grey Warden

Romance Should be celebate, could be Viv.

Name: Kara

Race: Human

Class: Rogue

Weapons: Long Bow, but may switch to Daggers if necessary

Specialization:  Assasin

Physicality: Red hair, light blue eyes, very pretty and striking features, wears her hair in a braid that trails down along the side of her face.

Personality: Sarcastic and silly almost to a fault.  Has full confidence in herself as an individual, but as a ‘leader of men’ not so much.  Despises nobility but especially Orlesian nobility, tries to do the same for Ferelden but has a small grudging respect.

Background: Was born to a woman who owed money to nobility and other wealthy patrons in Orlais, they had her jailed in debtors prison where she would die.  Kara would take to the streets of Orlais and Ferelden from an young age.  Joining one thieve’s or Assassin’s guild after another, joining the occasional hunt, till finaly she would work as a free lancer full time.

Feeling About being Inquisitor: Confused, uncertain, over her head, relies on others for support in the role.  Scoffs at herself being anyone’s ‘chosen’ but often wonders why the Maker would do so if He did.

The Inquisition: Trusts in her advisors.  But otherwise the Inquisition focuses on Espionage, striking from the shadows, gathering data, lying low, trying to avoid the attention of the nobles and betters of society unless necessary.  Some small focus on Economics too, but leaves that to her adviser.

Story Arc: Goes from being a strict individualist only caring about herself to someone who can lead the Inquisition.  Still strong and fiercly independent, but more confident in helping people, and leading the Inquisition.

Feeling about Dragons: They are meat, though with claws and can breathe fire, if they can gather a hunting party and take them down, enough money and food to last for months.

Relationship with Companions: Despite her lack of confidence tries to be on good terms with her companions, maybe to a fault.  Jokes with them, plays with them, drinks with them, and tries to keep the atmosphere as light as she can at all times possible

‘A’ Team: ‘Chaos’ party.  Varric, Dorian (if he is right), then swap out Cassandra/ Iron Bull

Romance: Cassandra or Dorian , probably Dorian.

Name: Athena

Race: Qunari

Class: Warrior

Weapons: Battle Axe, may do war hammers for grins

Specialization: Reaver, most likely.

Physicality: Later

Personality: Infectious smile, bright attitude, charming wit, easy to get along with, has an interest in politics, religion, and economics.  But can be quite ruthless on the battlefield.

Background: Was born to a tal vashoth fleeing the Qun, wound up with a Dalish tribe who took them in, the Dalish tribe was eventually wiped out.

Feelings about Being Inquisitor Has no problem with the role figuring with her poise it is natural for her to be so.  But with her strong sense of individuality finds it hard to believe its her ‘destiny’ creating an internal conflict.

The Inquisition: Will be a military force to be reckoned with, crushing any who oppose it and any who even gets in her way, if you aren’t with her, you are against her, and against the Free People’s of Thedas trying to find the center of the Demon Threat.

Story Arc Later

Feelings about Dragons: Finds a certain familiarity with them, but she will still ruthlessly hunt them down for glory.

Relationship with Companions: Light and airy, they respect her and she is out to have a good time.

‘A’ Team: Solas/ Vivienne, Iron Bull, Grey Warden

Romance: Maybe Iron Bull

Name: Elizabeth Nancy Trevelyn(ENT) This will be my canon character that I will use for mulitple playthroughs.

Class: Mage. most likely Knight Enchanter

Weapon: Staff that can used as a spear. Her staff is powerded by the souls of the ones she's killed. The more she kills, the more power her staff gains. Its also been rumored that when she uses her staff as a spear, it can leave an enemy impaled against the rock. On the top of her staff is an upside down skull that drips blood out of its sockets. If anyone else was to touch or try to use her staff, they would be poisoned and die a few moments later. And lastly, her right hand with 1 inch fingernails that are laced with poison that can rip through the flesh of the enemy.

Physical looks: She is a beauty with very long hair. The color of blood. With eyes that look like oceans and when in combat her eyes change color to a pure black. When she walks into a town or city, men and women stand in awe at her beauty.

Personality: She is evil. She has a black heart. When she wants something done, she will resort to any means necessary to get it done. She doesn't care about the consequences. She has one weakness. Children. Or at least that's if the stories are to be believed. One story that is being told is that several years ago, she saw 2 men beat up a child. She followed them back to their camp where over 30 men resided. During the night she was able to strip them naked , tie them all to the trees and pour oil on them. She took the leader and nailed him to an upside down cross. When the sun rose, all the men watched her skin their leader alive and burn his body. She then burned all the men with their screams being heard throughout the valley.

She went back to the child and noticed her parents were dead by the hands of the bandits. She dug two graves for her parents and then took her to the nearest town to be cared for. She gave the girl a small bag of gold coins. To this day, some believe she is still watching over the child.

Background: She's from a far away land where she learned  her skills. She was banned from her land when her people realized her power was too great for them to handle. She ended up in Thedas where she thrived on killing. It was in Thedas where she crafted her staff to fit her needs. She doesn't use blood magic. She considers those that use blood magic as weak and pathetic

When she walks into cities, the air becomes cool, people lock themselves in their homes. They only know one thing. Death has arrived and he** follows her. Kings and Queens bow before her for they not challenge her power. Even the devil approaches her for advice. She will close the veil, but her ultimate goal is to rule Thedas.

Companions: She doesn't need any, but if she has them, she wants them all female. Not because she likes women, but because it gives the enemy a false sense of victory making them weak.

Romance:  Celene if possible. If not, maybe Cassandra

I will play as an elf, dwarf and qunari as well.

People plan their characters?

At this point my only planned character is as a female elf rogue.

I don't know enough about the availble 'character' choices/dialogue to determine WHAT type of personality my character is going to have. But I will be making choices based on what I myself would do if confronted with a particular situation.

After that? I do tend to plan out the characters I want to RP more, since now I have an idea of what's availble, choices, consequences.

For this game I know I will be playing one of each race and will also be doing a couple of mages (I don't usually play mages) just to see how the game reacts to the different races and or classes.

And I've played the heck out of DAO and DAII, I expect I will do the same with this game.....10 playthroughs doesn't seem unreasonable. (although possibly very time consuming)

That's....intense. :P  I don't think our Inquisitor Mages would get along very well but if they do meet the fight would be truly epic.

(Copy-pasted from another topic, though I changed a few things and added personality description, and pictures! :D )

I manipulated some celebrity photos to accompany my Inquisitors' descriptions, which I'll put under the spoiler tag so that I wouldn't clutter up the topic. These photos are simply here to give an idea of what I have in mind for my characters, but I'm pretty sure they'll look quite different when I can finally play around in the CC. I will update this post with the rest of the images when I have them all ready.

Anyways, I'll try to play as all four races combined with the two genders, which'll mean 8 playthroughs in total, or maybe even more. Of course, things might change depending on what's actually available in the game. Currently this is the order in which I'll play the game [also, beware of Awesome Photoshop Skillzes ™. No, am not kiddin'...]:

  1. Adryan Terevelyan

    Gender/Race/Class: Male Human Mage
    Specialization: Knight Enchanter
Weapon Style: Depends on what a Knight Enchanter can use. I'll pick Sword and Shield if available.
Party Members: Cassandra, Varric, DHMG (Dorian?)
Romance: Cassandra. If by some twist of fate she is not available for a mage, then maybe DHMG.
Personality: A bit indecisive, he is probably a bit late to react to what happens around him. Will try not to screw up but will probably still end up f*cking-up big time in keeping with the tradition of all of my first playthroughs.
Expected Gameplay: Will probably lean more toward using military strength or establishing connections in order to do what needs to be done.
Appearance: Either the default Male Human if I find him nice, or tanned skin, hazel/green-brown eyes, black hair, aquiline or Greek nose, strong chin.

  2. Ashkaari (?) Avaar

    Gender/Race/Class: Female Qunari Warrior
    Specialization: Champion
    Weapon Style: Two-Handed
Party Members: Solas, Sera, Grey Warden
Romance: Iron Bull or Grey Warden (or Cullen, if all else fails). Will lean more toward beefy/strong type of guy.
Personality: Calm, logical, level-headed, not cold or callus but will not quite show much emotion. She is somewhat of a bookworm, and is quite curious about the different cultures and religions across Thedas. She is probably searching for the best way to live life, hence her name.
    Expected Gameplay: Pure military strength
Appearance: Long white hair, dark green eyes, light grey skin, big horns, scars.

  3. Brandil Lavellan

    Gender/Race/Class: Male Elven Mage
    Specialization: Necromancer
    Weapon Style: None?
Party Members: Iron Bull, Vivienne, Cole (?)
Romance: Sera or Solas. He is only interested in other Elves.
Personality: Pro-Elven and quite arrogant, he is a bit of a weirdo due to Dalish upbringing. His dabbling in sinister magic has probably been met with both contempt and awe in his clan, and that has shaped up his personality more than anything else.
Expected Gameplay: Spying and espionage. Some military strength.
Appearance: Long black hair, dark skin, greenish blue eyes, complex vallaslin design.

  4. Durgan (?) Cadash

    Gender/Race/Class: Male Dwarven Warrior
    Specialization: Reaver
    Weapon Style: Two-Handed?
Party Members: Cassandra, Grey Warden, Iron Bull
Romance: Aiming for Cassandra, but I'm worried that she might not be interested in Dwarves.
Personality: He has led a tough life, I imagine. He won't take bullshit from no one, and is quick to resort to violence if others get in his way. Despite this, however, he genuinely cares for his friends and those under his command, even if he doesn't show it on the outside. He is loyal to the extreme. I'll try to make him and Varric BFFs if possible.
Expected Gameplay: Military strength, with use of some espionage.
Appearance: Really short black hair, pale skin, grey eyes, scars, scruffy stubble/really short beard, bushy eyebrows. A slightly big, broken, hawk-like nose. Maybe some tattoos.
    Spoiler

  5. ??? Terevelyan

    Gender/Race/Class: Female Human Rogue
Specialization: Tempest (if it fits with Archery)
    Weapon Style: Bows
Party Members: Cassandra, Grey Warden, DHMG (Dorian?)/Vivienne
Romance: Cullen. Trying for that Leader and her Adviser/Second-in-Command type of thing.
Personality: She is probably haunted by some failure in her past (or during the early stage of the game), even though on the outside she comes off as arrogant and (falsely) self-confident. In order to compensate for her self-doubt and low self-esteem, she will try to seize utter control of the Inquisition, and will care more about the power of the organization than the random civilian. She isn't at all fond of sucking up to other people.
Expected Gameplay: Espionage and military strength.
Appearance: Short wavy brown hair, tanned skin, dark blue/green eyes, scars.
    Spoiler

  6. Arya Cadash

    Gender/Race/Class: Female Dwarven Warrior
    Specialization: Templar
    Weapon Style: Sword and Shield
Party Members: Varric, Grey Warden, Solas
Romance:  Varric if available, otherwise Grey Warden or Cullen or Solas.
Personality: Friendly, cheerful and kind. She, however, might not be exactly the best choice for leading an organization as big and influential as the Inquisition will be. She is more likely to sacrifice the Inquisition's power in order to save every civilian there ever is, or kittens, more like.
Expected Gameplay: Merchants and connections. Some military strength.
Appearance: Dark brown/black hair, brown eyes, dark skin, plump lips, round cheeks, a perpetually smiling, kindly face.

  7. ??? Lavellan

    Gender/Race/Class:
     Female Elven Rogue
    Specialization: Artificer
    Weapon Style: Dual Daggers
    Party Members: Varric, Sera, Cole
Romance: Sera or Solas or Scribe Girl
Personality: Friendly, borderline hyperactive, is quite adamant about getting what she wants.
    Expected Gameplay: Espionage and connections.
Appearance: Short red hair, pale freckled skin, grey eyes, pointy nose, thin lips, high cheekbones, pixie-like face, either no vallaslin or the smallest available.
    Spoiler

  8. Anaan Avaar

    Gender/Race/Class: Male Qunari Mage
    Specialization: Rift Mage
    Weapon Style: None?
Party Members: Vivienne, Solas, DHMG (Dorian?)
Romance: DHMG or Iron Bull or Solas, whichever is available
Personality: Quiet, stoic, somewhat of an a**hole, dominant.
    Expected Gameplay: Military strength.
Appearance: Long white hair bounded back in a plait or ponytail, a small, braided beard, purple or pale blue eyes, bronze or purplish skin, face paint on lower half of the face.
    Spoiler

Other than these, I would like to play as a dark-skinned Female Human Warrior or Knight Enchanter, a girly-girl Female Qunari Mage, an atypical Male Qunari Warrior, an Elven Warrior of either gender, a Male Human Warrior, a Female Elven Mage, and a Female Dwarven Rogue too, but I don't know... that's way too many... And I don't even know how to set up my world-states for the first 8 either. I don't have that many playthroughs of DA O and DA 2.

Definite first playthrough:

Gender/Race/Class: Male/Dwarf/Warrior

Specialization: Templar

Weapon Style: Two-Handed

Party Members: Cassandra & Varric for sure. Then maybe Solas, Iron Bull, DMHG, or bearded Warden (not sure yet)

Romance: Cassandra

Personality: Diplomatic, helpful, a bit witty

Appearance: Bald, with a dark beard

Possible second playthrough:

Gender/Race/Class: Female/Qunari/Mage

Specialization: Knight Enchanter
