Impressive.. Can you raise the terrain over the tiles and bake it so you walk on the terrain or are the tiles giving you the walkmesh ?

In the video the tiles were converted to environmental objects, I didn't find any walk or camera issues doing this. Since you asked I did some testing with the tiles as placeables and there are unusual issues going on with the walkmesh and the camera. For instance, tester below is standing in between the placeable tile above and the walkable marked ground below (this doesn't allow actual 3d movement), in other spots I had the tiles aligned and couldn't cross between them, and sometimes the camera would take a closeup. I'd have to know a lot more about tile walkmeshes to understand what was going on. I'd guess only rjshae and hellfire might have that level of knowledge.
So overall I would say the tiles need to be made environmental objects.

Tiles don't have that deep walkmesh transition along the edges that walkable placeables like the bridge do, so they likely won't have a good join with a sunken floor mesh. You'll probably have to resort to walkmesh helpers in some cases.

I see, it's probably better they're environmental objects and if you want the flooring part sticking them down first on a totally flat surface or on a bit which you did a "flatten under" on using a big square placeable so you don't suddenly finish up to your knees in floorboards !
