I actually am in the process of doing a mesh for Ashley's face in the hospital so it is a little swollen.  Looks pretty good actually.  I was going to try to use the shirt mesh and do the face again.  See if I could really get it to look cool.  Basically each scene has it's own mesh in the PCC so you can change outfits from scene to scene.  Did this with Miranda as well gave her the black outfit in the apartment and changed her hair for instance.

The femshep texture has an overlay mask in the specmap (alpha) that applies sheps skincolour overtop. It's likely that's what's happening. Ash just gets her skincolour straight in the diffuse, so if colour is added ontop, it gets a lot darker. The femshep mod is a body mesh adjustment, you should be able to use the textures I adjusted for ash in ELE's Legacy project and have that work for that casual outfit (in theory).

If you just exchanged the mesh I'm not quite sure what's happening there, best have a look at which texture it's using.

Ottemis is right about this.  You have to color her arms because it is set up for the user's skin color.

Huh. So it is applying both the Shepard and Ashley textures? Not sure how to look and see which one(s) it's grabbing.

Might be a more complicated transition than I'd hoped... given that the model is applied to every female character in the game, I thought it was as simple as swapping them out. Would Ashley not have her own skin color to be applied beneath the diff? I wonder if she'll look like she has vampire arms if I replace her own diff with an empty, transparent one.

No it can't apply two texture sets, impossible. It's using one or the other, most easily checked via the diffuse as femsheps version will have strange pale hands and arms and the ash version will have normal coloured ones. If the diffuse is correct, check the spec.

That or just re-apply the tpf that came with the ashley legacy mod.

And yes, NPCs and Shep have skintone added through the material and mapped via the specmap, where most squadmates do not and have skintone added directly on their diffuse textures. They are handled differently and their textures are unique to them.

What you have to do is take the diff texture and where the arms are add skin tone to them where they are dark.

Yeah but if he's using the 1st casual outfit, i've already done that in the Ash Legacy mod, he might as well just use those textures.

I've also done it for the 4th casual in the Geto mod. It's all done already for Ash.

That's the odd part. I just swapped out the mesh via PSK export/import. I didn't touch the texture deployed by Legacy (which has the arms shaded) at all. It simply comes out darker.

Do they use the Alliance uniform?

As far as I can tell, yeah - there's no obvious difference in the diff files except Ashley's skin is shaded.

Post a screenshot of how it looks ingame, I'm curious. We might just be sending you in circles.

The spec controls the overlay. Ash's spec has no alpha, the femshep spec has an alpha.

Yeah you may be right, that texture is an DTX5 meaning it has an alpha layer.

The Liara commando armor is giving me serious problems. I usually don't have problems with mods. but this one is a killer.  I installed and updated and still nothing but black testures. I use alot of Ottemis, Girlsplaygames, Drengen and several others. But this one.  Help

@bomma

...You know, I actually hadn't thought of that. I need to try that. Just the _NC.pcc, right? All others should be changed? I'm just trying to implement Ajax for now, but will try to give Ashley the "Buff Fem Shep" body afterwards.

This would all be an absolute boon to integrate into the Legacy project. Tie in Getorex's hospital shirt fix and we'd be set.

Nah, I think the hospital shirt in the Ashley Legacy Project looks fine as it is, the texture on the shirt looks amazing, even with Getorex's fix the original hospital shirt looks ugly IMO

Now what someone needs to do IMO, is to make an Alliance hoodie mod for Ashley (like this one here http://social.biowar..._media_id=15015 (it's by Ottemis I think) and tie it into the Legacy mod

I am having Trouble accessing my PCC in my DLC Folders. I can access Movies but no PCC's. When I go to DLC Editor 1 or 2 and open the star file. I open it all the way down to PcConsole Toc and all I get is DLC_OnlinePassHidCE tlk, bin and afc and DLC_Shared  no PCC
I have scanned my game and installed on Basegame but I cannot access my DLC for testure replacement. I even went to the ME3Explorer website. There are no answers there. What am I doing incorrect.
