So im trying to get a question answered that i have not seen answered yet.

Im currently in my 3rd playthrough of Mass Effect and i made different choices in both games, on my first playthrough i did EVERYTHING and on my second i just did a few thing.
However the problem is i didnt make those save games seperate save files, i just started a new game plus and saved over my old file so how will importing my character work? do i have to finish this play through to have character to import or will it recognize my choices from previous playthroughs?
On the current playthrough ive really only been playing the main story line, and obviously i dont have my paragorn/renegade status up very far at all but in my first playthough it was maxed out. So yeah...help?
