Yep.
"Hire cheap guards, Hawke kills them. Hire good guards, Hawke kills them."
When did Hawke kill cheap guard tough? I'm fairly certain we saved them in Act I.

Pretty much anytime I can use the murder knife option. I this case, I always do in the profiteering merchant in Lothering. I also love Morrigan's remark to Leliana after Leli freaks when I do it.

Companions? Zero. I killed Anders once, then reloaded as soon as the game let me.
NPCs: Not many that I didn't have to, aside from a few such as the head of the "Cult of Andraste," the Tevinter slaver in the Alienage and other assorted nut jobs along those lines. Otherwise, in games that have a persuasion/charm mechanic, I always stack points into it. If I can talk my way out of a situation without bloodshed, I'll take it. If not, well it's not like I'm slouching in my gear or combat abilities. ![]()

You can have him suicide the archdemon instead of you or Alistair if you don't like/trust Morrigan. That's a pretty damn good reason to keep him around.
At the time you have to choose to save him, you don't actually know that you have to commit suicide to stop the archdemon.

The character whom you don't have to kill but can that I always do is Vaughan.
Poor guy was killed by Howe before I got there. ![]()

I am always tempted to kill the one merchant in Lothening(sp)
I hear your making a killing, so am I.(kill him)
Mainly cause of Sten;s reaction.

That line is hilarious. It's pretty amusing when Leliana objects and Morrigan points out that she should be pleased, seeing as how she disapproved of what he was doing prior. I don't particularly like my murder elf, but he sure makes for some laughs.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised how cold humorous Hawke is at that point, and it's even better that everyone in your group approves.

Only if you've never played the game before. He only said he couldn't think of a reason to let him live, I gave him a solid one.

I used the Ogre in Darkspawn Chronicles to pick up and punch Alistair to death after he broke up with me after the Landsmeet. I reloaded over and over again until my bloodlust was sated.
