Atleast, in my opinion.... Right now I'm playing through ME3 for the... fourth, maybe fifth time (I don't even remember, LOL), and I still see new things happening.

For example, what I noticed this time:

- Instead of talking to himself, Mordin is singing just before he dies in the Shroud... first time I ever saw that

- Miranda stays alive in the mission on Horizon.... in the other playthroughs she always died....

So with every time I play the game I discover something new... but I'm guessing that also has to do with which squad mates you pick, and other stuff... really amazing :)

I've played ME1 over 25+ times, ME2 probably over 15, and ME3 I think is close to 10. To this day I still find out things I didn't notice before in ME1. For example in ME1, I got the Peak 15 pass from Anoleis. I didn't know you could do that, I always thought you got it from Giana.

Yeah I've played the game numerous times. I believe I've seen/heard everything in ME3 except for the romances.

Now  I just replay to see what I can do different for a playthrough.

I've lost count of how many times I've played these games, and it wasn't until my last playthrough that I discovered Mordin didn't always sing at the shroud, heh.

People have their dislikes about ME3, and about the trilogy, but I do agree, it's kinda of amazing how many variables influence how the game plays out.

ME is really good for this! Esp in comparison to Dragon Age. I played DA2 first, and after playing DA1 I thought I'd enjoy replaying DA2 for the effects my import would have. Couldn't see it through, cause it barely had an impact.

Playing ME1 for the first time I can't wait to replay ME2 and 3. All of the variables that will be affected by my ME1 import are much more tangible, and I can tell it will have a totally different (and much more fulfilling) affect on my second playthrough.

Bioware is usually good for producing a game with epic replay value.  DAO, ME1, ME2 I replayed those more times than I can count I would say each game more than 20 times and across platforms DAO's modability alone got an extra 2 years of gameplay out of me.  I am glad you can Enjoy ME3.  For me I have played through 3 times.  I literally cannot play it I start puttering around and this awareness of what happens at the end smothers any enjoyment I get from it and it becomes tedious which stinks for me because I really enjoyed citidel dlc.  I replayed DA2 about 6 times half were because of the DLC's.  Parts of it got boring but even it had its moments.  I am hopeful DAI will have similar replayability value to ME1 and ME2.  I doubt they will achieve DAO status because the lifespan of that game was greatly increased by mods.

I feel the same way. With the EC, I can thoroughly enjoy the game repeatedly. The DLC's make a big difference as well, and with all of them installed it's more satisfying.

I kinda wish I didn't install all the DLC for same playthrough. Would be even more awesome to find out the awesomness little by little.

But, them's the cards and no use crying over spilt milk. Still, I agree, DLCs make a good game that much better. I love all of them. Citadel, Leviathan and From Ashes because they add more time with your squadmates and more content and Omega because it has some awesome battles.

I have just finished another play through of the whole trilogy and I completely agree! the Mass Effect trilogy as a whole has the most reply value than other other series out there! If mass effect 2 was a video I would of worn out several copies alone! My only hope is that our next set of adventures in the ME universe has the same replay ability :D

The replay value is much better with DLCs. Vanilla ME3 is simply boring and too linear.

I got vastly more mileage out of the shitstorms and arguments over the game than I ever did playing it.

Holy crap that's a good point. At least for ME3.

Gauging by the threads I've read on here and elsewhere around its release, it looks like this was the case for ME2, too.

Not to the same extent as ME3's original ending, but highly disappointed and critical.

In tandem with re-vamping my canon Shepard, I'm working a new Shepard through the trilogy right now; an Ashleymancing vanguard. The last Shepard of mine who romanced her was modeled after Jayne Cobb and knocked boots with every human female it was possible to (only to subsequently see them die off one-by-one: Jack died in the Suicide Mission, he broke things off with Miranda to try to reconcile with Ashley, only for her to die cursing him to hell, Kelly was on the Citadel when the Reapers hit, and Miranda died on Sanctuary due to the aforementioned break-up). This new guy will be loyal to Ashley alone. Should be interesting to see how things pan out.

Currently in the process of installing a new armor mod for her.

Mods have made the game look a hell of a lot better. The above two are meant to replace the blue and pink "tinfoil miniskirts," respectively, which we get in the vanilla game. Still need to get signed up somewhere so I can post screenshots.

I might just have to get the PC versions for these games. I'd have to but an XBOX controller because I can't play shooters with a mouse.

Are there any mods for new, non-canon powers?

I love ME3 but I have to disagree. There are some interesting variances between playthroughs, but the limited dialogue choices and auto dialogue kills most of my interest in replaying more than a few times. I also hope I never have to see that awful intro ever again.

Not powers, not that I'm aware of, but I've used Gibbed saved editor to replace powers with bonus powers. Most of the mods improve textures, put people in different outfits (Ashley in an Alliance uniform instead of a blue tinfoil miniskirt, Miranda in something other than the catsuit), change cabin music, cosmetic stuff.

You can put however many weapon mods you want on you and your squadmates' guns.

Only mods I use are texture enhancers, so they don't add too much replay value but it makes the game so much better.

But on topic, yeah Mass Effect 3 does have some pretty good replay value for me. Even if I don't usually deviate from my canon choices and story.

I don't care much for the main story apart from the Genophage arc (to say nothing of the ending), but the combat is great, and the character interactions are mostly great too, so I agree that ME3 has quite a lot of replay value.
